February 24, 1922 – December 15, 2018

Frederick Charles Randell was born on February 24th, 1922 to Eli and Tryphena in Williamsport. He, along with this brother and three sisters were raised in Williamsport. On October 19th, 1944, Fred married Violet Randell, also of Williamsport, and together they raised three sons. They remained in Williamsport until they resettled to Englee in 1969. Fred and Violet were business people who ran their own business. Fred was also a boat builder and mail carrier. In 1999 Violet passed away and Fred continued on his own, until he took up residence in the John M. Gray Centre. On December 15th, Fred passed peacefully away. He is survived by his sons, Jesse (Gladys), Hedley (Shirley), and Ted (Emma). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from the Englee United Church from where the funeral took place on December 18th with Rev. John McGonigle officiating. Interment followed. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, Funeral Director.
