Passed away May 4th, 2022 at the Strait of Belle Isle Health Center at the age of 88 years.
Roland is forever loved and remembered by his Loving Wife of 65 years, Jessie; Daughter, Wanda (Truman); Sons, Gary (Patsy), Roland (Edna), and Cyril (Maxine); Grandchildren, Mick (Nadia), Kaye (Jamie), Boyd (Nancy), Cagney (Mark), Trista (Late Wilfred Genge Jr), Jessica (Corey), Christopher (Glenda), and Travis (Stacie); Great-Grandchildren, Andrew, Ryder, Brooklyn, Landon, Adam, Averie, Cruz (Late Ryan Gary), Natalie, Rylan, Luke, Daniel, Caylee and Cole; Sister, Dulcie; Brother, Isaac; Special Niece, Pam, as well as large circle of Nieces, Nephews, extended family and friends.
He is predeceased by his Parents, Alice and Abraham, In-laws, Cyril and Joyce; Sister, Tena; Brothers, Noah, Kirby, and Stedman.
Visitation was held from St. Matthews Anglican Church in Anchor Point from where the funeral was held on Sunday May 8, 2022 at 11:00 am with Rev. Short officiating. Interment followed. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, Funeral Director.
