It is with regret and great sadness that the family of Vera Parsons announce her passing at the age of 90 years. Vera was born in Wesleyville and moved to Griquet at the age of 9 years. She met and married Everett Parsons and together they raised seven children. Vera was a very independent woman whose dedicated her life to caring for other people and dearly loved her children. They were her life’s focus. Vera faced many challenges in her life from losing her father at a very young age, and was a caregiver to many, never complaining and took life as it was handed to her. She lived independently on her own for the past 22 years up to a week before her passing. She leaves to mourn her children; Lloyd (Rhoda), Stella (George), Louise, Bill (Yvonne), Donna (John), Kathy and Chad (Lin); grandchildren Berni (Todd), Marion (Nelson), Brad, Perry (Pam), Todd (Sherry), Billy (D.iane), Kristen (Simon), and Stephen (Michelle); great-grandchildren Gabe, Bailey, Blaine, Gabriel, Isaac, Zachary, Dorian, Mela, Brooklyn, Braylon, and Braxton. The funeral service will take place at All Saints Anglican Church in St. Lunaire-Griquet on Saturday, August 10th at 2:00 pm with Deacon Arthur Kinsella officiating and interment to follow in the Anglican Church Cemetery. Flowers will be graciously accepted or donations may be made to the All Saints Anglican Church Fund. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M.
