Passed away at the Sir Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders on December 17th, 2017 at the age of 94 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her Children Baxter (Virginia), Jean (Dwight), Gerald (Trixie); Grandchildren Dion, Dara (Paul), Nicole (Marty), Dwan (Colin), Natalie (Peter); Great-Grandchildren Rebecca, Logan, Nathan, Brayden, Benjamin, Kiersten, Kurtis; Brother Henry (Barbara); and Sister In Law Irene. Christiana was predeceased by her Husband George; Great Grandson Nicholas Hillier; Brothers Edward, Abraham, William (Marjorie), Leslie (Hilda); Sisters Effie (Stephen), Georgina (Thomas), Minnie (Jacob), Evelyn (Phillip), Mary Anne (Nathaniel), Viola (Absalom), Jessie (Freeman); Very Special Friend Gloria Gould; and Parents Stephen Chambers and Jane Dredge. Visitation was held from the Anglican Church of the Advent in Plum Point from where the funeral was held on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jennifer Renouf officiating. Interment followed in the Barr’d Harbour Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.
