Passed peacefully away at the Rufus Guinchard Health Center on the 23rd of January 2015. Mrs. Rosanna Applin of Shoal Cove West was in her 97th year. She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of loving memories her Daughters Susan Baines, Dora Sinnicks, Bessie McClean(Cliff), Sons Eric Applin (Prescilla) and Garland Applin(Marina), Grandchildren Vira Way(Glenn), Cavelle Gordon(Neil), Amanda McClean, Henry Plowman(Sarah), Jason Plowman(Shelby), Priscilla Genge(Roy), Craig Sinnicks(Penny), Jasmine Applin(Brian), Corwin Applin(Nicole), Great – Grandchildren Hailey, Breana, Hannah, Kayla, Jaxson, Natasha, Brian, Kolton, Jasper, Agnelica, Candice, Hayden, Kolby, Carter, and Ethan as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Eric, Daughter Sarah, Sons Stan, Ben, Jasper, Ivan, and Tom, Granddaughter Darlene, Grandsons Ramsey, Dale, Brian, and her parents Harry and Jane Coates. Visitation was held at the St. Margaret’s Anglican Church in Reef’s Harbour from which the funeral service was at 11:00am on Tuesday January 27th, 2015 with Rev. Harold Harvey and Lay Reader Bernice Baines officiating. Interment followed in the Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger Funeral Director.
