Passed away peacefully at the John M. Gray Center on the 24th day of January 2015. Mr. James (Jimmy) Acreman of St. Anthony was in here 89th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memoires his Brother John (Dorothy) Acreman of St. John’s; Sister-in-Law Dorothy Acreman of Gander; Niece Margie Acreman, Nephews Ralph, Dennis, and Robert, his friend Kevin Simms as well as his neighbours, staff and friends at the Shirley’s Haven. He was predeceased by his parents Benjamin and Harriet Acreman of St. Anthony, Brother Benjamin in Gander. Visitation was held at the funeral home in St. Anthony followed by the funeral service was held at the United Church in St. Anthony at 2:30pm on Monday January 26th , 2015 with Rev. Dinesh Gomes officiating. Interment took place at the Fishing Point Untied Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.
