Passed away suddenly in Tan Tallon, Nova Scotia in Halifax County at the young age of 43 years, Mr. Elam Dyson Hancock of Englee, NL,on Sept. 15, 2012. Left to mourn with heavy hearts are his parents Wilmore and Laura Hancock, of Englee; his son James Reid, Mt. Albert, Ontario; daughter Samantha Reid, Hubbards, Nova Scotia; common- law-spouse Terrie Gale, Hubbards Nova Scotia; sister Angela (Alan) Compton, Englee, his brothers Eldred Hancock, Fort McMurray, Alberta; and Eldon (Tina) Hancock, Fort McMurray Alberta, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Visitation took place at the Apostolic Faith Church in Englee, from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21 with Pastor Vanzel Quinlan officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, SIobhan Mauger, funeral director.
