GREENHAM, CELIA MARGARET

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Celia Margaret Greenham announce her peaceful passing on December 25, 2022, with her loving husband Edward, and family at her side.

Christmas was her favourite time of year, she loved everything about it, including the birth of Christ. She also needed a perfectly decorated tree, and a house full of lights that looked like a small airport.

Margaret was born July 16, 1944 on Current Island and was relocated to Eddie’s Cove 3 days later. She grew up in St.Anthony on Coates’ hill and met the love of her life down the other side of the hill at Chaytor’s movie theatre. Their courtship turned into five children, ten grandchildren, and 56 years of marriage. There was nothing in this world more important to her than family, and her dog Jersey.

She was well known in the community, especially due to her many years at the chicken coop, and her famous gravy.

Anyone that met her, loved her. Her huge heart, infectious smile and personality will always be fondly remembered.

She leaves to mourn, her one true love Edward, 5 children, Truman (Tammy), Judy (Barry), Trudy (Jim), Jackie (Dominic) and Eddie (Rod). Her ten precious Grandchildren; James Edward, Brittany, Megan, Julia, Courtney, Gregory, Anderson, Dylan, Justin and Chantelle.

Ecclesiastes 3 : (1-8)
There is a time for everything
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend,
