It is with great sadness that the family of Elias Cassell announce his passing on July 19, 2024 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony in his 88th year where he was surrounded by his loving family. He was a dear brother and Uncle.
Elias leaves to mourn, with fond and loving memories his special niece Bessie Mae, Whom he resided with for 9 years, His brothers Norman Cassell, Naaman Cassell (Priscilla), Eddie Cassell (Glennis), Sisters Greta, Elma, Evelyn (Edmund Cassell), Bessie (Fred Cassell), Ruth (Jessie Randell) and Margaret (Karl Dawe), as well as a large number of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, plus a number of friends.
Elias was predeceased by his wife Evelyn, Father Ashton and mother Lily, his sister Elsie and brother in law (Herbert) Pittman, Florence, Brother in law (Harold Newman), Lucy brother in law (William Newman), brother in law (Freeman Newman) and brother in law (Boyce Randell).
A Special Thank you to the Staff at Curtis Memorial Hospital for the care of our uncle Elias.
The funeral service is being held at the Apostolic faith church at 11am on Tuesday July 23rd with Pastor Michael Ivany officating.
Funeral Services were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatres Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.
