It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our kind and wonderful Husband and Father. Don was born in Nameless Cove on July 17, 1940, to John and Amy Dempster.
Leaving to honor his memory is wife Cicely, daughter Shirley (Gord). Brothers Clyde (June), Harold. Sisters-law Millie Macey, Hazel Dempster and Mary Dempster.
Predeceased by his parents and son Donnie.
The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at the Straits of Belle Isle Health Center and a special thank-you to paramedic Richard Dempster. A thank- you to his Home Care workers Lisa Gaulton and Nichole King. A special thank- you to his niece Karen Ann Dempster for her support and always making him smile. To niece Sheila Dempster for her support and kindness.
Visitation is being held at the Gospel Hall in Nameless Cove, beginning Sunday June 2nd and continuing until the family service on Monday June 3rd. the Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday June 4th followed by burial at the Nameless Cove Community Cemetery.
