BARTLETT, WAYNE DAVID

January 5, 1955 - January 7, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne share the news of his passing after a very long and courageous battle with cancer. Wayne left us in the morning of January 7, 2022. He died peacefully at his home in Quirpon with Cheryl, Andy and Phoebe by his side. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his partner Cheryl McCarron; Son Andy (Phoebe); Grandsons AJ, Henry, and Ben; Brother, Bill Bartlett (Mabel) and family; Leta Bartlett (mother of Andy and Angelina) and Nellie Bishop and family. Wayne was predeceased by his mother Violet, father Joshua, daughter Angelina (Adrian Allen) and grandson Findley.

Wayne will be missed by so many, especially closest and lifelong friends Alec Roberts and Karl Sparkes. In addition he leaves to mourn his lifelong neighbours and friends of Quirpon who shared since childhood his love of Quirpon, music, camaraderie, and all sorts of mischief.

He leaves behind legions of relatives and good friends that are too numerous to list here. Deserving special mention are the women and friends who thoughtfully prepared and delivered his favourite Newfie foods to him during his illness. Your love for him is obvious and returned many times over by Wayne.
