It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stedman Coombs announce his passing on February 18, 2019 in his 84th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and wonderful memories, his loving wife of 63 years, Vivian Coombs; children Irene (Ray), Hiriam (Pam), Melvin (Connie), Rosline, Barry (Ruby), Rick (Belinda), Lorne (Tina) and Leon (Dale); grandchildren Dara, Melvin Jr, Ocean, Terry, Tammy (Phil), Terry, Riley, Jenna, Maxwell, Callie; 11 great-children, sisters Effie, Dorcas and Dulcie; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John and Leah Coombs, mother-in-law Eva Coombs and father –in-law Lambert Coombs, son Terry, grandchildren Denise, Mason and David, sisters Bernadette White, Emily Applin and brothers Leander, Stewart and Gerald Coombs. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Strait of Belle Ilse Health Centre and Charles Curtis Memorial Hospital. Cremation has taken place.
