Passed peacefully away at the White Bay Central Health Centre on the 15th day of April 2015, Mrs. Hilda Martha Canning of Roddickton was in her 80th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her Daughters Wynita (Benson) Randell, Ottawa, ON; Loretta (Aiden) Byrne, Thunder Bay, ON; Emma(John) Reardon, Roddickton, NL; Lisa (Roger) Budden, Roddickton, NL; Denise Canning, Roddickton, NL; Son Roger Canning, Roddickton, NL; Eleven Grandchildren, Six Great Grandchildren, and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur, Son Lomond Canning, Daughter Margaret Clements, parents Benjamin and Eliza Randell. Visitation was held at the Apostolic Faith Church in Roddickton from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on Sunday April 19th, 2015 with Rev. Christopher Hewlett officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard.
