Passed away peacefully in her home at Ship Cove on the 15th day of August 2014. Mrs. Vina Roberts was in her 74th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her Sons Terry(Dorcas), Barry(Merle), Wade(Angela), Daughters Bernette(Cyril), Marion(Gerry), Lisa and Diane, Twenty-one Grandchildren and Thirty Great Grandchildren, Brothers Garfield(Lilly), Melvin(Dorothy), Hounsell(Gertie), Sisters Violet(Roy), Martha, Jessie(Everette), Effie, Rebecca, Lavinia(Al), and Verne(Jacque), along with a large circle of family and friends. Vina was predeceased by her Husband Bernard, her daughters Beverly and Phoebie and her parents James and Phoebie Bessey. Visitation was held on the 20th day of August 2014 at the United church in Ship Cove from which the funeral service was held at 2:0pm on the 21st day of August 2014 with Rev. Gus Pendleton officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger funeral director.
