Was Born in Eddies Cove East on the 26th day of June in 1931. He moved to Lanse au Claire and there is where he married his wife Agnes. He leaves to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, and other family as well as a large circle of friends. He was predeceased by his wife Agnes, his Parents Philip and Susanna, Sisters Amy, Rita, Bessie, Alice, Brothers William, John, Edgar, Philip, Richard, and Reginald. Visitation was held at the St. Andrews Anglican Church in Lanse au Claire from which the funeral service took place at 2:00pm on Wednesday August 13, 2014 with Rev. Norman Cutler. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger Funeral Director.
