Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 29th day of November 2013. Mrs. Jessie Eileen Hillier was in her 67 year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memoires her husband of forty-eight years John, Sons Paul(Sonya), Todd(Elaine), Daughter Nadine(Michael), Mother Julia Newman, Brothers Ambrose and Neil, Sister Patsy, seven grandchildren Samantha, Jonathon, Carly, Zachary, Lindsey, Benjamin, and Brooklyn, one great-grandchild Austin as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her father Benjamin Newman. Visitation was held at The Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle in Griquet followed by the funeral service on the 2nd of December 2013 at 2:00pm with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger Funeral Director.
