COLES, ALONZSO

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mr. Alonzo Coles announce his sudden passing at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 9th day of April 2015, Mr. Alonzo Coles of Flower’s OCve was in his 54th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his common-law Wife Beatrice Allingham, her children Todd(Samantha), Tyson(Vanessa) and Ashley, his parents Arch and Hazeroth, Brother Ivan(Betty), Sister Beatrice(Boyce) Short, Sister-in-Law Daphene, as well as a large number of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his Brothers Arch Jr. and John, and Sister Susie Eileen. Visitation was held at the St. Barnabas Anglican church in Flower’s Cove from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on Saturday April 11th, 2015 with Rev. Irving Letto officiating. Interment followed in the Anglican Cemetery in Savage Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger Funeral Director.

GOULD COOMBS, ANGUS

Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 17th day of March 2015, Mr. Angus Coombs Gould of Bear Cove was in his 71st year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons Alvin(Mary), Roland(Myrtle), Wade(Paula), Daughter Lorraine(Clay)Taylor, Grandchildren Gavin C. Gould(Chasity), Sheldon C. Gould(Kayla), Ashley Taylor(Marlin), Clay Taylor Jr.( Courtnay), Keirsten C. Gould(Brandon), Christopher C. Gould(Kiana), Great Grandchildren Anna C. Gould, Chace Williams Gibbons, Keegan Dyck, Kate C. Gould, Partner of Colleen C. Gould, Jarvis Genge. He was predeceased by his wife Viola and daughter Colleen. Visitation was held at the St. Boniface’s Anglican Church in Bear Cove from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on Sunday March 22nd 2015 with Rev. Irving Letto officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger Funeral Director.

GENGE, GARFIELD

Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 25th day of February 2015. Mr. Garfield Genge of Anchor Point was in his 79th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his Brother Pierce (wives Stella and Lourie deceased), Sister Joanna (Jacob deceased) Sinnicks, Sister-in-Law Renie (George deceased), many nephews, nieces, and Special Nephew Marvin (Louise) Genge, and a large circle of friends. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Sarah, his Siblings Lourie, Rachel, Douglas (Deborah), George, Emmanuel (Dora), and Margaret (Pierce) Sheppard. Visitation was held at the St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Anchor Point from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on the 28th day of February 2015 with Rev. Irving Letto officiating. Interment followed in the New Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard funeral director. 

WHITE, MARGARET

It is with great sadness the family of Margaret White (nee Coles) announces her passing on Sunday June 22, 2014 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial in St. Anthony, Mrs. Margaret White in her 76th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Nelson; sons Barry (Dale), Rol (Joy) and Nelson (Dorcas); daughters Miriam (Leslie), and Nita (Stephane); grandchildren Chasity (Gavin), Kelly (Christopher), Robby (Holly), Gina (Boyd), Jack (Tori), Dillon, Eric, and Rendell (Keisha); great-grandchildren Dustin, Peyton, Anna, and Brooklyn; special family Rosie McLean, brother Roland (Ivy), sisters Alma (Gerald), Eva (Garfield), Eliza (Edmund), Sarah, Barbara (Harris), and Mona (Stanley), as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Miriam and Roland and her sister Dora. Visitation took place at St. Thomas Anglican Church in Sandy Cove from where the funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25 with Rev. Letto officiating. Interment followed in the Anglican Cemetery in Savage Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

GENGE, WILLIAM EDWARD

Passed peacefully away at the age of 86 years at the Charles
S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony surrounded by
wife Hazel and all his family, William Edward Genge (March
23, 1928-June 21, 2014) of Flowers Cove. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories
his wife Hazel; children Patsy (Roland), Ivy (Roland), Harvey (Lisa), Elaine (John), Marjorie (Wycliffe), Dorcas (Nelson), Pamela (Peter), and Maxine (Cyril); 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren as well as a large circle of other family and friends. He was predeceased by his son Robert, parents Henry and Dorcas Genge, sisters Lillian Genge, Johanna Mitchelmore, Constance Way and Polly Whalen, brothers Garfield Genge and Isreal Genge. Visitation was held at St. Barnabas Anglican Church in Flowers Cove from where the family service took place at 7 p.m. on the Tuesday, June 24. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25 with Rev. Irving Letto officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

Gould(Kayla), Ashely Taylor(Marlin), Clay Taylor(Courtney, Keirsten C. Gould(Brandon), Christopher C. Gould, Great Grandchildren Anna Colleen C. Gould, Chase Kirby Williams Gibbons, Keegan Robert Dyck, Partner of Colleen Jarvis Genge as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Colleen C. Gould and her parents Philip Dredge and Evelyn Chambers. Visitation was held at the St. Boniface’s Church in Bear Cove followed by the funeral service which was held on January 27, 2014 at 2:00pm with Rev Irving Letto officiating. Internment followed in the church cemetery.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger funeral director.
