HUMBY, HAROLD

Harold was born in St. Lunaire to Joseph and Jesse Humby on November 28th, 1941. Harold started out with a career as a fisherman and in the lumber woods; with the Liner Board in Goose Bay. He did, however, continue fishing. Harold marries Edith Blanchard of Roddickton, NL. They married in St. Lunaire in 1960 and continues to make their home there. Harold and Edith had two children, Flossie and Wilbert. Harold passed away on February 3rd , 2018 from the John M Gray Centre in St. Anthony at the age 76 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his Wife Edith; Children Wilbert (Norma), Flossie (Denley) Hedderson; 9 Grandchildren; 10 Great-grandchildren; Brothers Lester (Judy), Nelson (Joan), Reginald (Regina), Gordon (Margie); Sister Irene Hillier; Brother-in-law Allan Patey as well as large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Harold was predeceased by his Parents Joseph and Jesse Humby; Sister Florence Patey; Brothers Alvohn, Truman, Wilbert, William; and Brother- in-Law Thomas Hillier. Visitation was held from the Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle in St. Lunaire-Griquet from where the funeral was held on Thursday, February 8th, 2018 with Pastors John and Joy Baker officiating. Interment followed. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.

SNOW, ERIC CLEMENT

Passed away on January 14th from the Health Science Centre in St. Johns at the age of 53 years. Eric was born to Francis and the late Mary Snow on February 5, 1964. He met the love of his life, Diane Hedderson; they married on June 8th, 1985. Together they raised 3 beautiful children who are his precious jewels; Steven (Tamara), Victoria (Todd), Varrick (Jenna). They have 7 Grandchildren; Cortaz, Dakota, Nathan, Kaci-Rae, Amaya, Alexia, and Samuel, whom Eric loved very much. Leaving with fond and loving memoires are wife Diane; Children Steven (Tamara), Victoria (Todd), Varrick (Jenna); 7 Grandchildren; Father Francis; Brothers Roland (Trudy), Leslie (Paula); Sister Mona as well as a large circle of family and friends. Eric is predeceased by his mother Mary; Mother and Father in law Madeline and Hector Hedderson; and brothers-in-law Billy and Gordon Hedderson. Visitation was held from the Pentecostal Tabernacle in St. Lunaire-Griquet from where the funeral was held on Thursday, January 18th, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Captain Rideout officiating. TAYLOR, AUSTIN TOMA

Passed away at the Janeway Children’s Hospital in St. John’s, NL at the age of 17 years. Austin Toma Taylor was born in 2000 in St. John's, NL and spent his early years in Raleigh. His family moved to Labrador City several years ago, but he still often returned to Raleigh where he enjoyed time with his grandparents and friends. Austin was a blessing to everyone who knew him, and he was blessed by sharing life with his parents Toma and Valerie (nee Smith), and his sister, Kendra (Kyle) and their two children AJ and Ella. In addition, Austin was blessed by the support of grandparents Glen and Barbara Taylor, Nellie and Willis Smith, Joan and Phil Bursey and Hedley Blake, and great grandparents Raymond Roberts and Everett and Jessie Blake. In addition, a large circle of aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as many, many friends blessed Austin's days. Thank you all! The reality that each of you blessed Austin's life is directly related to the response of your hearts to the blessing that he was. Everywhere he went, Austin touched the hearts of people. Austin truly was a blessing. He will be greatly missed and remembered with love. Visitation was held at the United Church in Raleigh from where the funeral service was held on Monday, July 24th, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gus Pendleton  and Pastor Joy Baker officiating. REGULAR, HELEN MAY

She was born April 26, 1928 at Shi Cove, WB. She married Archibald Regular on December 4, 1944. Together they raised eleven children. Helen worked at the fish plant in St. Anthony for thirteen years until she retired in June 1987. She loved to garden and enjoyed her flowers. She enjoyed knitting and other crafts. She was a faithful church goer and taught Sunday school for Twenty-one years. She leaves to mourn her sons Weldon(Laura), John(Leona), Les(Rhoda), Paul(Mona), Daughters Selma Fowler(Francis Hedderson), Loretta(Frank Morris), Joan(Nelson Humby), Pam(Ronald Patey), Gwen(Tom Francis) and Wavey(Kevin Parr), Daughter-in-Law Sylvia, She had a large number of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren, Brother Willie(Irene Tucker), Sister Gladys(Max Anderson) as well as large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Archibald, Daughter Lillian, Son Newton, Brother Hayward Tucker, Sister Doris Tucker, her parents Henry and Lucy (Bessey) Tucker. Visitation was held at the Grace Pentecostal Tabernacle in Ship Cove from where the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on Tuesday September 1, 2015 with Pastor Joy Baker Officiating. TAYLOR, EDWIN ROLAND

Passed away tragically at his private home in Ship Cove on the 2nd of September 2014, Mr. Edwin Roland Taylor in his 61st year. Edwin leaves to mourn his brother Roy and David, his sisters Juanita (Adolphus Andrews, Winnie (Eric Pilgrim), Violet (Calvin Johnson), Karen (Cecil Humby), Maysie and Joanne, as well as 6 nephews, 1 great nephew, 2 nieces, and a large circle of family and friends. in his short years Edwin suffered the loss of his farther Robert J. Taylor, his mother Ethel M. Taylor his brother Ronald G. Taylor and his sister Lephna Hurley. the visitation took place at the Pentecostal Church in Ship cove from which the funeral service took place at 2:00pm on the 8th of September with Pastor Joy Baker Officiating.
