Passed away at the Janeway Children’s Hospital in St. John’s, NL at the age of 17 years. Austin Toma Taylor was born in 2000 in St. John's, NL and spent his early years in Raleigh. His family moved to Labrador City several years ago, but he still often returned to Raleigh where he enjoyed time with his grandparents and friends. Austin was a blessing to everyone who knew him, and he was blessed by sharing life with his parents Toma and Valerie (nee Smith), and his sister, Kendra (Kyle) and their two children AJ and Ella. In addition, Austin was blessed by the support of grandparents Glen and Barbara Taylor, Nellie and Willis Smith, Joan and Phil Bursey and Hedley Blake, and great grandparents Raymond Roberts and Everett and Jessie Blake.
