Dora was born in Ship Cove on October 12th 1947 to Myrtle & Norman Taylor. She passed peacefully on the evening of December 21, 2021. She was a loving wife to Hayward Tucker, having five children in total for him, one boy & four girls. She loved all her grandchildren, but raised two of eight grandchildren as her own, Anthony who is pre deceased & Derrick, who also made her a great-grandmother to two great grandbabies: Sophia & Benson.

She was a hard working FPI worker all her life until the plant closed for the moratorium in 1992. She always was in good spirits & loved children, it did not matter if it was her own or a total stranger. She lived a fun and fulfilling life until the very end.

She leaves behind her five children, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister, two brothers & is now in her forever resting place along with those deceased before her.
