TUCKER, DORA

October 12, 1947 - December 21, 2021

Dora was born in Ship Cove on October 12th 1947 to Myrtle & Norman Taylor. She passed peacefully on the evening of December 21, 2021. She was a loving wife to Hayward Tucker, having five children in total for him, one boy & four girls. She loved all her grandchildren, but raised two of eight grandchildren as her own, Anthony who is pre deceased & Derrick, who also made her a great-grandmother to two great grandbabies: Sophia & Benson.

She was a hard working FPI worker all her life until the plant closed for the moratorium in 1992. She always was in good spirits & loved children, it did not matter if it was her own or a total stranger. She moved to Labrador after the death of her husband & found her partner Edward who treated her like the queen she was & loved her family as if they were his own. She lived a fun and fulfilling life until the very end.

She leaves behind her five children, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister, two brothers & is now in her forever resting place along with those deceased before her.
The family would like to thank the John. M. Grey Center in St. Anthony for providing our loved one with the care & support she needed in her last endeavours.
