PILGRIM, ERIC (DICK)

March 9, 1950 - January 2, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of Eric (Dick) Pilgrim announce his passing on January 2, 2025 at the John M Gray Center in St. Anthony, NL at the age of 74 years.

Eric (Dick) loved to do things together with his wife, Winnie, especially during Christmas and birthdays. He also had a love for the great outdoors, fishing, and playing hockey. He was a lovely husband to Winnie, and father to his children: Toby and Tina.

One of the greatest things in his life was when he found the Lord and became a faithful member of the Bethel Pentecostal Church with his wife, Winnie.

Eric and Winnie did everything side by side up until they both began to struggle with dementia, then they both moved to the John M. Gray long term care home to spend time together again. Even in their illness they still showed their love for each other with Eric in particular doting on Winnie all the same.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his Wife of 23 years: Winnie; Son: Toby (Jody); Daughter: Tina; Sisters: Betty Pilgrim, Millicent (Millie); Brother: Albert (Marjorie), Murdock, Leonard (Janette), Fred (Carol); Sisters-in-law: Margaret, Bertha, Violet (Calvin) Johnson, Karen, Maysie (Primus) Mitchelmore, Joanne; Brothers-in-law: Harrison Hedderson, Roy Taylor, David Taylor, Adolphus Andrews, as well as a large circle of family and friends.
