HEDDERSON, LAURA DALE

February 12, 1957 – April 11, 2020

Dale was born in Main Brook on February 12, 1957 to Leonard James and Louise Effie Hedderson. Dale lived in Main Brook until the age of 15, when she moved to St. Anthony to work and attend college. Dale met her best friend and companion, Don, in November, 1974. Dale worked 23 years with the School Board and continued her career at Shears Building Supplies. Dale enjoyed her walks and outdoors down the bay. Together, both Dale and Don spent their time enjoying their cabin. Dale marveled at the beauty of her flowers, she always had a passion for her garden and she always had the biggest and brightest flowers; just like her heart. On the morning of April 11, 2020 Dale passed peacefully away after a sudden and short illness at the age of 63. Dale is survived by her lifetime companion of 46 happy years, Don Milley. Her mother Louise, Sister Fay (Alwin), Brothers; Rennie (Sheila), Ralph (Sandra), Eddie, Fabian (Phyllis), nieces and nephews; Sarah (Johnathan), Ian (Kelly), Krystal (Dylan), Chad, Ryan (Jodi), Bobby, Brittany, Ashley; her great nieces and nephews; Camryn, Cali, Maddie, Noah, Lucas, Lexie, Levon, Kia and Kaden. In laws: Carl and Pearl, Greg (Judy), Lynette (Derrick); nieces and nephews; Curtis (Sarah), Nancy (Mike), Kirk, Kyle, Scott, great-niece Maddie. Dale is predeceased by her father Leonard James Hedderson. Dale’s fun, wit, laughter and love for us all will be sadly missed. Private Funeral service to take place on Monday, April 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in the United Cemetery in Main Brook. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. HOLLEY, DALE

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dale Holley announce his sudden passing on Tuesday January 9th, 2018 after a short but harsh battle with cancer at Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, NL at the age of 61 years old. He will be forever remembered and loved by his wife Linda of 39 years, Children; Cara (Neil), Jennifer (Andrew), and Hayward. Grandchildren: Jared, Madison, Marc, Meyah, and Liam. Brother Tom (Joyce), half siblings: Ruby (Melvin), Clarence (Loretta), Bart (Joyce), Bruce (Joan), Terry (Phyllis). As well as a large circle of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends including his work family at Johnson's Construction Ltd. Predeceased by parents John & Lavinia; nephew Darry and half-brother Tom. Visitation was held from St. Mark's Anglican Church in St. Lewis, NL from where the funeral took place Sunday January 14th, 2018 at 2 pm. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. KENNEDY, DALE GERARD

passed away July 28th, 2017 at Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 60 years. Dale was born to Mark and Isabel Kennedy of Bird Cove on May 7th, 1957. At a very young age he started writing sons and playing music which he continued to do until his illness came upon him- this was his passion in life. He had many talents and was very knowledgeable. He was a gifted musician and loved jamming with his buddies on the weekends. Throughout the years he spend endless hours working on the history of his community and he co-founded the Bird Cove-Plum Point Archaeology project. For his outstanding community efforts and Archaeology work he was given the James Pendegrast Award; the highest achievement an avocational archaeologist can receive in Canada. He had a countless number of friends and was well liked by all that knew him. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his mother Isabel; Sisters Jessie (Pius) Gould, Rosalie (John) Pittman, Agnes (Romeo) Caines; Brothers Mark (Diana), Lyman (Marie), John (Audrey), Howard (Donna), Robert (Kerri), Nephews Merle (Sharon) Pittman, Sheldon (Dale) Gould, Enis (Andrea) Caines, Ranil (Felicia) Kennedy, Andy (Katie) Kennedy, Paul (Brianna) Kennedy, Wade (Hilary) Kennedy, Adam Kennedy; Nieces Ayeshea (Stacy) Pittman, Melissa (Maurice) Chambers, Deanna (Andre) Myers, Kendra Kennedy, Robyn Kennedy; Great Nieces and Nephews Lauren Pittman, Zackary Gould, Alaina Gould, Ella Caines, Sadie Conway, Brooke Kennedy, Markus Kennedy, Blair Kennedy, Evan Kennedy, Kyle Kennedy, Brody Pittman, Michael Myers, Milan Myers as well as a large circle of relatives and friends.
