BUTT, STANFORD ALLAN

March 10, 1935 - August 28, 2022

Stanford was born March 10, 1935 in East St. Modeste, Labrador. He was the oldest child of Allan and Susannah Butt. Stanford was a quiet man who never married and had no children of his own, though he is fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews who thought the world of him. He enjoyed the outdoors to the fullest. In his younger years he excelled at hunting and always provided for his mom and the family. In his later years he made a good many trips over on the Boney Shore and up to the top of Tracy Hill, he continued daily walks until he was in his eighties. Overall he was a smart, active little man.

He leaves to mourn, his Sisters, Fannie Layden (Roland), Gladys Yetman (Leonard); Brothers, Steward Butt (Meta), Hubert Butt (Thelma), Harrison Butt (Peggy), Sterling Butt (Julia) as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Stanford is predeceased by his Parents, Susannah and Allan Butt as well as his Sister, Effie Butt.

The funeral service is to take place on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 2:00 pm from the Gospel Hall in Red Bay, NL. Interment to follow. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Alicia Patey, Funeral Director.

BUTT, WILLIAM

Passed away at the John M Grey Centre in St. Anthony on December 30th, 2016 at the age of 87 years. Visitation was held at the Pentecostal Church in Port Hope Simpson from where the funeral service was held on January 3rd, 2017. Interment followed. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton.

BUTT, BENJAMIN

Passed peacefully away at the John M. Gray Center in St. Anthony on the 16th of November 2014, Mr. Benjamin Butt of Mary's Harbour in his 84th Year. Benjamin leaves behind is loving wife of 47 years, Joyce, his children Glenys (Scott) Rumbolt, Kelly (Albert) Penney, Gail (Hughie) Holley and Trevor (Michelle). grandchildren Jenna, Julia, Haley, Connor, Emily, and Sarah, his sisters Emma Samson, Martha (Gordon) Pye, Laura Dalton as well as a large circle of family and friends. In his life Benjamin loss his mom and dad Susanna and Bartholomew, his brothers Edward, Frederick, Barton and Alex, and his nephew Garfield. Visitation took place at the St. Mary's Anglican Church in Mary's Harbour, from which the funeral service took place at 2:00pm on the 20th day of November, 2014 with rev. Keith Sheppard Officiating.
