Passed away Saturday, June 15th, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 82 years.  Leaves to mourn with a lifetime of memories; his wife, Elizabeth Myrtle Crane (Pittman); Children, John (Patty), Mary Jane (Gorvin), Marilyn (Ron), George (Brada); Grandchildren, Salome (Dwayne), Scott (Erika), Randy (Lei), Tyler (Danika), Robyn, Melanie, Riley; Great grandchildren, Rebecca, Brooke, Madison, Logan, Sophia, Alyssa, Chloe, Tanner, Maximus; Siblings, Ralph (Hannah), Rendell (Predeceased - Una), Garfield (Hazel), Maxwell (Juanita), Josephine (Predeceased - Aaron), Myrtle (Isaiah), Joyce (James), as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. John was predeceased by his parents, George Henry Crane and Elizabeth Jane Crane; Earl Crane (brother), Betty (sister-in-law), Nelson Crane (brother), Roland Crane (brother), Annie Marie (sister), Lennora (sister), Dorothy (sister), Augustine (sister), and Evelyn (sister). Visitation was held from St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Lower cove from where the funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Omar Reyes officiating. PYNN, ALBERT

Passed away on January 28th, 2018 at the Charles S Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 86 years. Albert was born in St. Anthony, in January of 1932, to Chesley and Annie Pynn. Unfortunately, App’s mother Annie died just a few months after his younger brother Everett was born. It was then that their Grandmother, Mary Pynn, stepped in to rear them up. As a young Adult, App was living in St. Anthony where he was working. At that time, Effie McLean from Eddies Cove caught his eye, and he married her in 1953, sixty-five years ago. Annie and ‘Liza have said that, while App did a variety of jobs, they remember him as a fisher. Bradley says that he left the fishery at the time of the moratorium. App always loved being in the outdoors, whether it was hunting for Moose, Turr or Ducks, or fishing, especially Salmon Fishing. He also enjoyed playing guitar, which gave his family many hours of joy. He had a loving family and a strong circle of friends. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his Wife Effie; Children Annie (Guy), Eliza (Bob), Bradley (Peggy); Grandchildren Stacey (Tom), Nicole (Wayde), Petrina (Colin), Georgina (Jason), Bobby, Miranda; Brother Everett (Matilda); ten Greatgrandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews. Albert was predeceased by his parents Chesley and Annie; Sister Maude; Brother Gus, Son George, Granddaughters Tammy, Jennifer, Samantha; Grandson Tyson; and Great-Granddaughter Danielle. Visitation was held from Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home in St. Anthony until the funeral on Wednesday, January 31st, 2018 from the Central United Church on Quirpon branch with Rev. Gus Pendleton officiating. Interment followed in the Quirpon Community Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. GENGE, ALBERT JR.

passed away on August 16th, 2017 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 75 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Martha Jane Genge; Son Paul (Dolly); Daughter Wanda (Brad); Grandson Mavrik; Brother Noah (Moriah) Genge; Sisters Josie (Abraham) Genge, Jessie (Roland) Genge, Eileen (Stephen) Penny, Virginia Dredge as well as a circle of extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his Parents Cyril Genge Sr. and Joyce Genge, and his Grandson Paul Guy Johnathan Genge (PG). Visitation took place at the Anglican Church in Anchor Point from where the funeral service was held on August 19th, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Omar Reyes officiating. Interment followed. CHAMBERS, ALBERT

Passed away on November 16th, 2016 at Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at 66 years of age. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children Tiffany (Danny), Deidre (Elliott), and Dillon; Grandchildren Samuel, Lucas, Catherine, Grace; Mother Miriam; Brothers Ronald (Anne), Garfield (Geraldine); Sisters Betty (Jim), and Gloria (Bill). He was predeceased by his father Ronald Chambers Sr. Visitation took place at the Church of the Advent in Plum point from where the funeral service was held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Terry Rose officiating with cremation to follow. Interment will be held at the Pond Cove Anglican Cemetery; details to be announced. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. PATEY, STEWART ALBERT

Passed away Peacefully at the John M. Gray Center in St. Anthony in his 87th year, Mr. Stewart Patey. Stewart was born to Meta and Noah Patey of St. Anthony. He was employed as a stationary engineer in St. Anthony and Labrador City, from where he retired in 1990 and moved back to St. Anthony. Stewart was predeceased by his parents, son Wilfred, brothers Charles, Wilfred, Lloyd & Norman and sister Jessie. Left with their memories are wife Ida, son Charles (Kitty), Daughter Eileen (Ralph); grandchildren David, Melissa & Jonathan; great-grandchildren Benjamin, Jack & Ella; brother Francis (Agnes), as well as other extended family. Visitation took place at the funeral home in St. Anthony, Followed By the Funeral Service at 2:00pm on Thursday May 1st, at the Salvation Army Church in St. Anthony with Major Baggs Officiating, Cremation followed the Service with Burial at a Later Date.  Funeral Arrangements where entrusted to Kerry M. PYNN, ALBERT GEORGE

Passed away peacefully at the Sir Thomad Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on the 21st day of April 2014. Mr. Albert George Pynn of Quirpon was in his 57th year. He leaves to mourn with loving memories his Daughter Miranda(Chris), Grandson Jax, Fiancee Paulette and daughters Kevannah and Emily, Parents Albert and Effie, Sisters Eliza(Robert), Annie(Guy), Brother Bradley(Peggy) as well as a large circle of family and friends. Visitation was held at the funeral home in St. Anthony and Central United Church in Quirpon followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm on the 25th day of April 2014 with Rev. Gus Pendleton and Major Baggs officiating. Internment followed in the Quirpon Community Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted Kerry M.
