Ralph Emerson Cassell
July 12,1933 – April 8,2024
Passed away in to peace at the Birchview Manor in Glovertown, NL on the 8th day of April, 2024, Mr. Ralph E. Cassell.
Ralph was born in Hooping Harbour on July 12,1933 to Darius and Lucretia Cassell. When he was a young boy he moved to Roddickton with his parents and siblings. He met and married the love of his life Olive Adams on March 27,1952 and they enjoyed sixty-three wonderful years together. Ralph was a loving and compassionate person who dedicated his life to the Lord, his family and helping others. He was generous to anyone who came to his door. He always enjoyed special occasions and getting together with family and friends for meals and sing-alongs. He loved his family more than words can say. His smile, humor and love will remain in our hearts. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.
Leaves to Mourn: Precious children: Lorne (Grace), Gary (Lillian), Ruth (Wade), and Linda (Bram), Grandchildren: Chad, Sarah, Darren, Desmond, Laura, Jessica, and Victoria, Great Grandchildren: Anthony, Jade, Harper, Brianna, Liam, Ella, James, Benjamin and Evelyn Great Great Grandchild: Leo Siblings: Ida and Harvey. Pre-deceased by: Parents: Darius and Lucretia Cassell, siblings: Emily, Sidney and Charity and Grandson Deon.
Visitation is being held at the Pentecostal Church in Roddickton, with a family from 2- 4 pm and public from 7-9pm after which the funeral service will be held at 1030am on Saturday April 13th, 2024 with Salvation Army Major Crocker officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Salvation Army Community Cemetery in Roddickton.
Funeral services were entrusted to Oram’s Funeral Homes in Glover Town as well as Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.
