born April 30, 1928 took his Heavenly flight on June 8, 2019. He was the 4th of 9 children born to William and Harriet Reid of Englee. On June 25, 1949 he married the love of his life Ethel Edna Randell of Hooping Hr. [Deceased] Together they built a home and raised 6 children; Doris, June, Edwin, Patsy, Marilyn and Sybil. He is survived by children, Doris [Clement], June, Edwin [Marjorie], Patsy [Raymond], Marilyn [Darrell], Sybil [Gary] as well as 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, brother Osborne [Bessie] Reid, 2 sisters Diana [Randolph] Lane, Shirley Simmons, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of the following for the excellent care their father received; Deer Lake Manor, Western Memorial Hospital Corner Brook [dialysis unit], Golden Years Estates Grand Falls/Windsor. Central Health GFW [Dialysis unit] and nurses of third floor A and B units. Also thank you to Fillatre's Funeral Home St. Anthony. Visitation to be held on Monday June 10, at 7 p.m. from the Apostolic Faith Church, Englee. Funeral to take place on Tuesday June 11, at 2 P.M. from the Apostolic Faith Church, Englee with Pastor Hewlett officiating. Interment to follow in the Apostolic Faith Cemetery, Englee Highway.
