ROBERTS, ENA MAE

September 9th, 1950 - November 6th 2019

Ena was born on September 9th, 1950 to Harvey & Blanche Simms. She was born in St. Anthony at Curtis Memorial Hospital. She was the 5th in the line of 11 children; 5 sisters and s brothers. Ena met her one true love, Calvin, when she was 18 and they were married 2 years later. She worked at the local fish plant until the children came along and then she quit and decided to pursue her passion; Children! She started babysitting and there were times when she cared for up to 9 children plus her own kids. She had 4 children, Glenda Glen Ivan & Andrew. She finished babysitting shortly after Calvin passed away and then done a few different things such as sewing with Grenfell, homecare and finished off working at the school's cafeteria. Everywhere she went, she was loved by everyone and met new friends. She loved sewing, knitting and making homemade quilts for all her children. She spent many late nights with Glenda and Shirley putting puzzles together and playing cards. She spent as much time as she could with her 5 grandchildren as they were her pride and joy; Laura, Abby, Logan, Lacee & Colt. Her wish was that Calvin had been alive to enjoy them as well. Her belief in God was how she lived her life. She was a Christian her entire life and lived according to God's law. On Wednesday, November 6th she went praising and rejoicing as the Angels welcomed her home. Ena Leaves to Mourn her Daughter, Glenda (Trevor and Abby); Sons, Glen (Vanessa, Laura & Logan), Ivan (Nicole), Andrew (Samantha, Lacee & Colt); Brothers, Ephraim (Karen), Gordon (Daphne), Wade (Chris) Ivan (Phyllis), Dale (Rose); Sisters, Shirley, Phyllis (Eric), Triffena (Albert); Brother-in-Law, Rod Stone.
