PARRILL, FLOSSIE VICTORIA

Passed away peacefully at the John M. Gray Center on August 8, 2016 at the age of 94 years. Flossie Victoria (Taylor) Parrill was born on April 21st, 1922 in Raleigh to Harvey and Eva (Pynn) Taylor. On January 4th, 1941 she married the love of her life, Norman Parrill of Pines Cove. They made their home in St. Anthony raising 6 children. On Monday morning, August 8th, 2016, Flossie passed peacefully away with her family by her side. She leaves to mourn; one son Roy (Rachel), four daughters, Ena, Dorothy, Mary Ellen (Randy) and Jackie (Hayward). She leaves to mourn, also, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Norman, son Elijah, son-in-law Robert, parents Harvey and Eva, Brothers Elijah, Valen, Llewelyn, Ernest and sisters Bertha, Ellen, Evelyn, and Ivy. Visitation was held at Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home in St. Anthony, the funeral took place on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 2:00 from the St. Anthony United Church with Rev. Dinesh Gomes and Rev. John McGonigle officiating. Interment followed in the Fishing Point United Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M.
