WAY, CLARENCE

Passed away on April 30th, 2016 at the age of 56 years. Clarence was born to henry and Sadie Way of Flower’s Cove on December 21, 1959. He was a lifelong resident of Flower’s Cove and on April 20th, 1985 he married Nancy Mitchelmore and they had two children. Clarence worked for NL Hydro for thirty-six and a half years, retiring in December 2014. Clarence was an outgoing man who loved the outdoors and everything that went with it, hunting, fishing, skidoos and his bike. He was a well-respected man and a hard worker. On Saturday, April 30th he passed away at home. He is survived by his wife Nancy, son Trent (Bonnie), daughter Tisa (Kenneth), and grandchildren Kaitlyn and Keegan. He is also survived by his mother Sadie, brothers Mel (Sonya), Loomis (Brenda), Keif (Karen), Eric (Marlene), Bryce (Anne), his sisters Bertha (George), and Brada (George). Also left to mourn are his parents-n-law, Stewart and Pearl Mitchelmore, brothers-in-law, Dennis (Kay), Ford and Boris and sister-in-law Seletta (Hubert). Clarence is also survived by his nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends and family. He was predeceased by his father Henry Way. He will be sadly missed. Visitation was held at the Flowers Cove United Church from where the funeral service was held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Rev. McGonigle officiating and interment following.
