Our Dad, Grandpa, and Uncle: Thomas Diamond was born July 3, 1929. He married Madeline Stevens on December 9, 1953. Together, they had 3 children and raised them in St. Anthony. Anyone who knew him, knows that he was fun-loving, a joker, devoted husband, father, and grandfather. This past week we have learned some stories of the things he had done. We never knew the names of the people he worked with because called them such things as “Old Cow”, “Grassy”, “Pussy Cat”, and another- “Nose.” There are many stories but we don’t have time to recollect them all. Thomas retired in 1991, where he spent his retirement in St. Anthony and made occasional trips to Alberta to visit family. His wife Madeline passed away in November for 2010 and many, many, times he would talk about her. Now they are together again forever. Rest in Peace, Love you. You can shed tears that he is gone or you can smile because he has lived. Smile, open your eyes, love, and go on. Mr. Thomas Diamond of St. Anthony passed peacefully away at the Charles S.
