Passed away peacefully at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 25th day of December 2012. Mr. Noah Smith of Raleigh was in his 85th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sons Baxter(Diane); Tony(Patsy); Manuel(Sheila); Welgia(Donna); Theophilus(Elizabeth); Noah(Bernitt); Daughters Renne; Joy(Emad); Dorcas(Terry); Julie(Kerry); Connie; Melvia(Hughie); Twenty-three Grandchildren; Twenty-four Great Grandchildren; Brothers Willis(Nellie); Tom(Hilda); Barton(Virtue); Sister Viola(Abel); Sister-in-Law Joan as well as a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by Wife Laura; Granddaughter Trudy; Mother Drucila; Father John; Sister Elizabeth; Brothers Jack; Felix and Jerry. Visitation was held at the St. Paul’s Anglican church in Raleigh form which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on the 28th of December 2012 with Rev. Diane Smith officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd.; St. Anthony and Roddickton; Lee Nippard Funeral Director.
