It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nellie Bennett announce her passing on July 15, 2023 at the John M. Gray Center in St. Anthony at the ago of 91. She passed peacefully with her family by her side.

Nellie was born in Straitsview on September 2, 1931 to Parents Albert and Matilda Hedderson. After losing her mother at 2 years of age, she was raised by her Father, 7 brothers, and Sister. She met her husband, Walter and they married on October 1950 and moved to Main Brook.

Together they raised 7 children. She was such a loving wife and mother. She was crafty at everything she touched, whether it was sewing, knitting, or gardening.
