HUSSEY, MARGARET ANN

Ann was Promoted to Glory at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital, St. Anthony on Saturday, July 30, 2022. 

She was born on February 1, 1965 to Sidney and Rita (Earle) Hussey of St. Lunaire–Griquet, NL. 

Ann was a social, loving and kind person who loved life. Whether she was at church worship or lying in her bed at the John Gray Centre, she was always contented with her lot in life.  Ann became a born-again believer on January 20th, 1991.  Ann persevered with a positive attitude despite her deteriorating health. 

Ann is predeceased by her Father, Sidney Hussey; brothers Antoine and David. 

Left with fond and loving memories are, the love of her life, Terry Noble; Mother, Rita (Eric Saunders); Sisters, Pansy Diamond (Clyde), Verna Hussey (Rod Stone), Blanche Pilgrim (Allan), Joy Biles (Albert), Lillian Randell (Austin), Wanda Lynn Pilgrim (Winston), Ruby Hilliard, Michelle Hussey (Brad Murley), Tanya Tucker (Danny); Brothers Roy (Lucy) and Bruce; best friend, Lisa Boyd, 11 nieces and 12 nephews and 32 great nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her church family.

Visitation to be held at the Salvation Army Church in St. Anthony NL, from where the funeral service is to take place at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 2nd with Majors Austin and Lillian Randell officiating. Burial will follow the service at the United Cemetery in St. Lunaire-Griquet.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatres Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.

MANUEL, MARGARET

Passed peacefully away on the 29th day of January 2013 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Margaret Manuel of Griquet was in her 88th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Audrey(Alvin Jr.); Ruby(Phil); Percy(Josephine); Rose(Fred); Bessie(Ray); Violet(Paul); Minnie(Bruce); Geraldine(Colin); Juanita(Boyd); Camella(Tony); Sister Mary(Frances); Brother Tobias(Mavis); Daughters-in-law June and Helen; Twenty-three Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Grandchildren as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Clemeth and Violet Hillier; Husband Roland; Son Donald; Daughter Priscilla; Great Granddaughter Jessica; and Sisters Evelyn and Chatfield. Visitation was held at the Al Saints Anglican church in Griquet from which the funeral service was held at 11:00 am on the 1st day of February 2013 with Rev. Diane smith and Lay Reader Alf Larkin officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger Funeral Director.

PILGRIM, NELLIE MARGARET

Passed peacefully away at the White Bay Central Health Center in Roddickton on the 25th day of November 2012. Mrs. Nellie Pilgrim of Roddickton was in her 88th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 68 years married Dorman; son Frank (Margetta); her daughter Joan (George); Daughter-in-Law Dulcie; nine Grandchildren; Thirteen Great- Grandchildren as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by son Donald; sister Dulcie; three brother Stanley, Sidney, and Frederick. Visitation was held at Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home in Roddickton from which the funeral service took place at 2:00pm from the United Church in Roddickton with Majors Henry and Beatrice Bingle officiating. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Roddickton. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home Ltd., St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger Funeral Director.
