BARTLETT, WAYNE DAVID

January 5, 1955 - January 7, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne share the news of his passing after a very long and courageous battle with cancer. Wayne left us in the morning of January 7, 2022. He died peacefully at his home in Quirpon with Cheryl, Andy and Phoebe by his side. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his partner Cheryl McCarron; Son Andy (Phoebe); Grandsons AJ, Henry, and Ben; Brother, Bill Bartlett (Mabel) and family; Leta Bartlett (mother of Andy and Angelina) and Nellie Bishop and family. Wayne was predeceased by his mother Violet, father Joshua, daughter Angelina (Adrian Allen) and grandson Findley.

Wayne will be missed by so many, especially closest and lifelong friends Alec Roberts and Karl Sparkes. In addition he leaves to mourn his lifelong neighbours and friends of Quirpon who shared since childhood his love of Quirpon, music, camaraderie, and all sorts of mischief.

He leaves behind legions of relatives and good friends that are too numerous to list here. Deserving special mention are the women and friends who thoughtfully prepared and delivered his favourite Newfie foods to him during his illness. Your love for him is obvious and returned many times over by Wayne.

Private Visitation was held from the Central United Church, Quirpon Branch on Monday, January 10, 2022 after which cremation followed. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 2:00 pm from the Central untied Church, Quirpon Branch with Majors Henry and Beatrice Bingle officiating. Inurnment to follow in the Central United Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, Funeral Director.

PILGRIM, IVAN MAXWELL WAYNE

it is with great sadness that the family of the late Ivan Pilgrim announce his passing on September 8th, 2020, at the Carbonear General Hospital at the age of 65 years old with his family at his side. Ivan’s funeral will take place at the Salvation Army Church on July 20, 2021 at 2pm. Burial will follow in the St. Anthony Bight Cemetery. Left to mourn his passing are his Beloved Wife Yvonne White, Children; Mike (Kendell) Pilgrim, Tammy Earle (Bryce Coombs) and Jamie Pilgrim, Grandchildren; Colby Coombs, Amber Dyson and Kaiden Czopko. his siblings; Eugene Pilgrim, Kye Pilgrim, Karen Pilgrim, Glenda Pilgrim, Wendy Pilgrim, June Pilgrim, Betty Pilgrim, Gladys Pilgrim and Tobias Pilgrim. Ivan was predeceased by his parents Johnathan and Anne Pilgrim and his sister Goldie Pilgrim.

 Wayne Pilgrim was born in St. Anthony on August 9, 1950 and passed on December 30, 2017. He was married to Bernette Campbell on December 5, 1969. They had one son Brian who is married to Yvonne. Wayne and Bernette had five grandchildren: Travis, Ty­son, Danielle, Chantelle and Janelle. They had three great-grandchildren Bentley, Callie and Aubree. They had a special niece Sandra (Lorne) Pilgrim. Wayne had two sisters Jean Canning and Cavell Kippen. As well, he had two sisters-in-law Pat (Clyde) Patey and Belinda (Ray) Richards. Wayne and Bernette were raised in the United Church in St. Anthony and remember most fond­ly the laughter and the singing. He leaves to mourn his wife Bernette (Campbell) Pilgrim; Son Brian (Yvonne); Grandchildren Travis, Tyson, Danielle, Chantelle, Janelle; Great-grandchildren Bentley, Callie, Aubree; Special Niece  Sandra (Lorne) Pilgrim; Sisters Jean Canning and Cavell Kippen; Sisters-in-law Pat (Clyde) Patey, Belinda (Ray) Richards; as well as his Nephews, Nieces, extended family, and friends. Wayne was predeceased by his Parents Sidney and Stella Pilgrim; Sister Joan Simms; Brothers in law Job Canning, Reg Simms; Father and Mother-in-law Alex and Viola Campbell. Visitation was held from Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral in St. Anthony on Sunday, May27th, 2018. The Funeral took place on Monday, May 28th 2018 from the St. Anthony United Church at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gary Jones officiating. Interment followed in the Fishing Point United Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.

ALLINGHAM, WAYNE HAROLD

Passed away into peace at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on the 8th of December, 2012 at the young age of 49, Mr. Wayne Harold Allingham of Brig Bay. Wayne leaves behind his loving wife of 18 years Juila, his daughter Gabrielle and sons  Willie and Lucas, as well as his mother Caroline and father Ralph, siblings Betty (Wayne), Melvin (Rowena), Baxter (Rosie), Sherman (Elaine), Nieces and Nephews Leanne, Brock, Astra, Joshua, Felicia, Ella, Lauren, Krystle, Destiny, Jonathan, Luca, and mother in law Elizabeth Genge. Wayne lived to experience the loss of his father in law Charlie Genge. Visitation took place at The Church Of The Advent in Plum Point, from which the funeral service took place at 11:00am on the 11th of December 2012 with Rev. Marlene Harvey and Rev. Harold Harvey officiating. Burial followed the Funeral Service in the Anglican Cemetery at Pond Cove. Funeral services where entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatres Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger Funeral Director.
