Passed peacefully away at the John M. Gray Center in the presence of her family on June 6th, 2021 Mildred B. McGrath (Nee Woodford) of Conche, Age 98. Mildred loved to spend time in her vegetable garden and to pick berries. she had a great sense of humor which gave many people good laughs. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life are her children Mary (Aiden) Moriarty, Aloysius (Elizabeth), Gerry (Barbara), Zita (Wallace) Budgell, Florence (John) Murphy, Paul (Pauline), Bride (Ralph) Smith, Jackie (Darrell) Comeau. Grandchildren Michael, John Louis, Lisa, Matt, T.J., Candace, Amanda, Ryan, Sean, Sarah, Karl, Brian, Cindy, Marilu, Jonathan, Steve, Angela and Lynnette. 14 great grandchildren, as well as a circle of nieces, nephews and good friends. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Jack, Parents William and Alice Woodford (Nee Joy), Her sisters Mary, Maria, and Eileen, Brothers Mick and Jim.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Levi Tucker announce his passing on October 14, 2020 at Curtis Memorial Hospital. Levi leaves to mourn children Christine and Perry, sister Pearl, brothers Rol, Les, Carl, Wilbert, Alwin and Gary and a wide circle of family and friends. Levi is predeceased by wife Nina, brother Roy, and parents Archibald and Aurelia. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Private visitation will take place from Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home in St. Anthony. The Private Funeral Service will take place from the St. Anthony Salvation Army Citadel on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Major Bingle officiating. Passed peacefully away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on August 30, 2015, Madeline Hedderson in her 68th year. She leaves to mourn daughter Diane (Eric); sons Jeffrey (Marlene), Jim (Pauline), Gordon (Cathy), and Jonathan (Jessica); special grandson Steven (Tamara); special friend Virginia; 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers Caleb (Margret), and Philip; sisters Louise (Jim), Rita (Ray), and Margret. She was predeceased by her husband Hector Hedderson, son William Hedderson, parents William and Sarah Bridger, Brother John Bridger, sisters Gloria Fillier, Annie Larkin and Elizabeth Mugford. Visitation took place at Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home in St. Anthony after which the funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2 with Father Paul Findlay officiating. Burial followed in the Anglican Cemetery in Griquet. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
