May 15, 1927 - December 17, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Dorcas Richards announce her passing on December 17, 2022 at the age of 95 years at the John M Gray Center surrounded by her loving family.

Dorcas was the loving wife of the late James Richards as well a Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Great-great-grandmother, Mother-in-law, and Sister. She was a very caring person who loved to spend time on the rivers salmon fishing and on the bogs and hills berry picking. She was a great cook and baker and made many wedding cakes. She also loved to knit and sew.

She leaves to mourn her Children: Rex (Joan), Lester (Viva), Ruth, Patricia (Charlie); Son-in-law: Freeman; Daughter-in-law: Cindy; Grandchildren: Shane, Janice, Trina, Tina, Kevin (Jaymie), Terry (Joni), Greg (Lyndelle), Glenn (Shannier), Melissa (Jeremy), Chad (Karisa); Great-grandchildren: Madison (Chris), Lucas (Caris), Autumn, Brady, Sydney, Katee, Cameron, Hayden, Brooks, Shayla, Emmy, Casey, Clarice; Great-great-granddaughter: Ivy; Half-siblings: San (Eliza), Melvin (Carol), Joyce, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dorcas is predeceased by her Parents, George and Dinah Saunders; Husband: James; Son: Kevin; Daughter: Barb; Son-in-law: Gerald; Sisters: Bessie (Ben), Helen (Albert), Keziah (Fred), Rebecca (Will), Vera (Bill).

Visitation to take place from the Pentecostal Church in Main Brook the evening of Monday, December 19, 2022 from 7-9 pm. The funeral will take place on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 2:00 om with Pastor Skinner officiating. Interment to follow in the Salvation Army Cemetery.

ELLSWORTH, WAVEY ISABELLA

Wavey Isabella (Stevens) Ellsworth
November 13th, 1950 - February 6th, 2022

Wavey Isabella Ellsworth was born on November 13th, 1950 to Kenneth and Eva Stevens. Wavey grew up in Main Brook and later found employment in Pasadena, Port au Choix, Corner Brook and Yellowknife. She met and married her husband Ron Ellsworth on April 16th, 1968. They had a beautiful daughter named Diane. She was the joy of their lives. They moved to Englee following their retirement. Wavey was predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Eva Stevens, daughter Diane and brother Clyde. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are:
Husband Ron Ellsworth Granddaughter Bianka (Jeremy) Great Grandsons Remy and Gio. Brothers: Jim (Sis) Stevens, Stanley (Sadie) Stevens, Tom (Gail) Stevens, Walter (Barbara) Stevens, Kenneth jr. (Christine) Stevens and Edward (Sherry) Stevens. Sisters Ann Stevens, Elaine (Ward) Sampson and Lavenia (Rhuben) Elliott A number of nieces and nephews and a large number of relatives and friends. The Memorial service was held at the Salvation Army Church in Englee with Major Lillian Pelley Officiating, Burial took place after the service at the Englee Salvation army Community Cemetery. SNOW, ERIC CLEMENT

Passed away on January 14th from the Health Science Centre in St. Johns at the age of 53 years. Eric was born to Francis and the late Mary Snow on February 5, 1964. He met the love of his life, Diane Hedderson; they married on June 8th, 1985. Together they raised 3 beautiful children who are his precious jewels; Steven (Tamara), Victoria (Todd), Varrick (Jenna). They have 7 Grandchildren; Cortaz, Dakota, Nathan, Kaci-Rae, Amaya, Alexia, and Samuel, whom Eric loved very much. Leaving with fond and loving memoires are wife Diane; Children Steven (Tamara), Victoria (Todd), Varrick (Jenna); 7 Grandchildren; Father Francis; Brothers Roland (Trudy), Leslie (Paula); Sister Mona as well as a large circle of family and friends. Eric is predeceased by his mother Mary; Mother and Father in law Madeline and Hector Hedderson; and brothers-in-law Billy and Gordon Hedderson. Visitation was held from the Pentecostal Tabernacle in St. Lunaire-Griquet from where the funeral was held on Thursday, January 18th, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Captain Rideout officiating.
