Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 8th of March 2015. Minnie Mae Genge of Anchor Point was in her 99th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories Sons James (Susie- deceased); Rufus (Sophia); Cecil (Olivia); Rendell (Bertha), Daughters Marion (Steve); Bernice (Winston); Mildred (Cyril); Eleanor (Robert- deceased), twenty-three Grandchildren, thirty-seven Great-Grandchildren, twenty-two Great-great-grandchildren, Sisters Annie Field, Casandra Penney, Amelia Nichols, Virtue Mouland as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her Husband Walter Genge, Granddaughter Petrina Genge, Grandson Rufus Genge, Mother Amelia Field, Father James Field, Sisters Else, Rhoda, Dora, and Brothers Arthur, Sandy, George, Son-in-law Robert and Daughter-in-law Susie. Visitation was held at St. Matthews Anglican Church in Anchor Point from which the funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 11th with Reverend Irving Letto. Passed away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on the 17th day of January, Mr. Leslie Chambers of Bear Cove in his 85th year. Left to mourn his passing are his wife of 55 years Hilda Chambers, Two Sons and Four daughters Terrence (Lucy), Regina (Larry), Jane (Louis), Trudy (Lynden), Anne (Garfield), Troy (Trudy), Grand children Neil, Jody, Mark, Chad, Ryan, Jilda (Abbie), Gina (Jeremy), Zane, Hope, Daniel and Tristan. Great grand children Mila, Logan, Georgia and Joelle, brother Henry (Barbara) sisters Jessie, Mary Ann and Christina. he was predeceased by his parents Stephen and Jane Chambers. Visitation was held at the Anglican Church in Bear Cove, from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on the 19th of January with Rev. Letto Officiating. She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of memories her children Holly (Jim), Chris (Della) and Marjorie (Peter); Grandchildren Thomas, Emily, Ramsey and Brooklyn; Sister Laverne(Arthur) Genge; Brothers-in-law; Sisters-in-law; Nieces; Nephews; as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents William and Marjorie Chambers; Parent-in-law Gilbert and Miriam Parrill. Visitation took place at St. Boniface Anglican Church in Bear Cove from where the funeral took place on Dec 13, 2014 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon with Rev Irving Letto officiating. Stedman leaves to mourn his children Mona (Baxter), Marie (Terrance), Clifford (Betty), Leona (Gary), Vina, Patsy, Jouce (Roland), and Ramsey (Angela). as well his sister Marina, Brothers Claude and Stewart and 14 Grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 5 Great Great Grandchildren. Stedman lived to see the passing of his wife Amy, parents john and Alice, brother William Henry, and sisters Celia and Dolorez. The Visitation was held at St. Andrews Anglican Church in Lower Cove, From Which the funeral service took place at 2:00pm on Saturday April 12th, 2014 with Rev.
