Gordon Hedderson

Gordon Hedderson of St. Anthony, NL passed away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on January 6, 2016 at the age of 45 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his fiancée Catherine Baker; Children Savannah, Jefferey, and Joshua; Brothers Jeffrey (Marlene), Jim (Pauline), Johnathan (Jessica); Sister Dianne (Eric); Uncles Eli (Mary), Gord (Virginia), Bob (Eliza), David (Bertha), Caleb (Margaret), Phillip; Aunts Betty (Job), Louise (Jim), Rita (Roy), and Margaret. Gordon was predeceased by his parents Hector and Madeline Hedderson; and his brother Billy.
Visitation was held at K.M. Fillatre's Funeral Home in St. Anthony. The funeral took place from St. Mary's Anglican Church in St. Anthony at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 10, 2016 with Rev. Fr. Findlay officiating. Interment followed in the Dark Tickle Anglican Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatres Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.

ANDERSON, ALFRED

Passed peacefully away on February 27th at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, Alfred Anderson in his 89th year. Predeceased by parents Charles and Delena, and brothers Job and Gower. Survived by wife Pearl; children Jim (Ann), Audrey (Tabi), and Dwight (Judy); grandchildren Terri (Ian), Khatija, Yasmin, and Amy (Gerry); brothers Maxwell (Gladys), and Dorman (Rose); sister-in-laws Helen and Dorothy Anderson; as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews. Visitation was held at the Funeral home in St. Anthony, from which the Funeral service was held at 2:00pm on Thursday March 5th with Rev. Fr. Paul C. Findlay officiating, burial followed the service in the St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery, in lieu of Flowers memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements where entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatres Funeral home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral director. 

PENNEY, THOMAS

Passed peacefully away at the John M. Gray Center on the 19th January 2015. Mr. Thomas Penney of Cook's Harbour was in his 82nd year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children Violet(Garry), Walter(Linda), and Gorden, Grandchildren Vanessa, Jonathon, Jordan(Jessica), Sheila, and Wilson, Great Grandchildren Gabriel and Jada, Sister Rosie, Brother Elam(Margarite), Brother-in-Law Warrick, special friends Gerald Elliott, Wayne Pittman, and Alex Smith as well as a large circle of family and firneds. He was predeceased by his Wife Susie, Sister Hazel, Brother-in-Law John, Parents Albert Edward Penney and Elizabeth Stevens. Visitation was held at the St. Matthews Anglican Church in Cook's Harbour from which the funeral service took place at 2:00pm on Thursday January 22nd, 2015 with Rev'd Fr. Paul Findlay officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger Funeral Director. 

 


JOHNSON, JOSEPHINE

Passed away at the John M. Gray Center in St. Anthony on the 4th of January, 2015, Mrs. Josephine Johnson of St. Anthony in her 80th year. Left to mourn her passing are her Sister Phoebe (Ralph), Delena, Victoria (Tex), Brother John (Jean), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. she was predeceased by her husband Harvey, Parents Walter and Delena Hedderson and Brothers Jerry and Vernon. Visitation took place at the funeral home in st. Anthony, From which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on January 8th, 2015 with Rev'd. Fr. Paul C. Findlay Officiating. Burial followed the service at the Anglican Cemetery, St. Anthony. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatres Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.
