NOBLE, AUDREY EUNICE

June 6, 1954 - December 11, 2023

Passed away December 11, 2023 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital at the age of 69 years, Audrey Noble.

Audrey was born on June 6, 1954 in Great Brehat to Pearce and Bertha Noble- the 4th of 7 children. As a young teen she worked in St. Anthony at Elms’ Store. As a young woman, she married a serviceman and moved to Germany where she raised her two sons, Sherman and Paul. They were light of her life. They moved back to Canada and lived in Ontario until she eventually moved back home to the Northern Peninsula.

Over the years, she worked at many bakeries and in later life became a well loved cook at the Lightkeepers Restaurant. Her table sat many family and friends over the years. If you ask them her best dish the answers would range from beans, cooked dinner, and a multitude of deserts. She was known far and wide for her happy demeanor, smile, and loving personality. She was altruistic and generous to friends and stranger alike.

She loved to make fun wherever she went, she was the fire and spice of the family. She was magnetic and drew us all together.

Over 20 years ago, Audrey met Sterling Blake and they instantly clicked. Together they have laughed and enjoyed each others company, and their precious grandchildren, up until Audrey’s unexpected passing.

She treasured Sterling, her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews, but especially her Mother Bertha and special nephew Darrell.

She leaves to mourn with many cherished memories, her Spouse: Sterling Blake; Mother: Bertha; Sons: Sherman and Paul; Stepchildren: Lorne, Jeremy, Melissa; Grandchildren: Zoe, Anna, Layla; Sisters: Doris (Eric), Pansy (Monty), Patsy (Dwayne), Dennis (Kristen); Sister-in-law: Selma Noble, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends far and wide.
