September 3, 1941 - December 21, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Naomi Genge announce her passing on December 21, 2021 at the age of 80 years. She is forever loved and remembered by Son, Gideon (Shelia) Genge; Daughters, Lavina (Wayne) Pittman & Sophia (Tony) Genge; Grandchildren, Vanessa (Jason) Albers, Jamie (Dede) Genge, Kelsey Genge (Devon Crooks), Tyson (Carla) Pittman, Scott Genge, Nikita Pittman (Stevon Fowler) & Reanna Genge; Great-Grandchildren, Olivia Genge, Addison Genge & Reid Pittman; Special Sister-In-Law, Millicent Sinnicks; Sister-In-Laws, Dora & Joanna Sinnicks Joyce & Sophia (Rufus) Genge; Special Friends, Laura (Noah) Genge and a large circle of nieces, nephews and extended family & friends.

She is predeceased by her husband, Lambert Genge (Nov-13th-2021); Parents, Esau and Susannah Sinnicks; Granddaughter, Danika Pittman; Brothers, Truman, Cyril, Jacob, Esau (Peggy), Sterling, Wilfred & Guy. Sisters: Selina (Alister) Genge and Hilda Sinnicks.

Visitation took place from St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Anchor Point from where the funeral service was held on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 11:00 am with Rev. Vernon Short officiating. Interment followed in the New Anglican Cemetery. Funeral Service entrusted to Kerry M Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, Funeral Director.

BALL, NAOMI

February 4, 1931 - February 4, 2021

Naomi was born to John and Julia Seymour in Margaree, NL. She met the love of her life, John Ball, and married him on January 13, 1949. Together they raised 13 Children. They moved to St. Anthony in 1963. Naomi is survived by 8 daughters; Annie, Eleanor, Gwenyth, Norma, Darlene, Julieann, Louise, and Nadine; 5 Sons, Eric, Merrill, Jim, Seymour, and George; as well as 31 Grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren; 6 Sisters, 2 Brothers, and a large number of family and friends. She is predeceased by husband John; Son, Matthew; Sons-in-law, Wilfred Reardon, Dana Macdonald, 2 sisters and one Brother. Private Visitation to take place from Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home in St. Anthony. The funeral service to take place on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm from the Salvation Army Citadel in St. Anthony with Majors Henry and Beatrice Bingle officiating. Interment to follow.

RANDELL, NAOMI

Naomi Randell, age 92 was born in Williamsport NL Dec 16, 1922. She passed peacefully away Friday Feb 6th, 2015 at The Angus Pratt Nursing Home in St. John's, NL.  Leaving to mourn her beloved children Freeman Randell, Eileen Evans (Dave), Scott Randell (Rae), Grant Randell (Bonetta) & Dean Randell (Debbie); her beloved grandchildren Ingrid Evans (Dave), Timothy Randell & Brett Gillard; Brother-in law Rueben Randell (Nellie); Nephew Craig Randell & Niece Karen Hann (Shane); along with a wide circle of family and friends. .   Predeceased by her husband Timothy Randell & Daughter Bernice Randell. Visitation was held at the United Church in Englee from which the funeral service took place on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 2:00pm. Interment followed at the New United Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.  Donations can be made to Hope Air (www.hopeair.ca) in her name.
