RICHARDS, MARJORIE

November 15, 1955 - December 21, 2023

In loving memory of our mother, Marjorie Richards, who passed away on December 21, 2023 surrounded by her family.  Marjorie was the devoted wife of Harvey Richards and loving mother of Dwayne (Marsha), Deon (Chrissy) and Michelle (Cody).  She was the most wonderful Nanny to Brendan, Aiden, Jonah, Brayden and McKayla.

Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own.  She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity.  Her kindness was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by the many people whose lives she touched.  Our mother was a woman of strong faith and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right.  She was a true role model who we will always look up to.  We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.

Marjorie is pre-deceased by three of her brothers (Dennis, Ralph, Cecil) and one sister (May).  She is survived by her husband, children and siblings: Hubert (Beryl), Ivy (Wallace), Telsie (Leyton), Emma, Leona (John), Douglas.

Visitation to take place from the Bethel Pentecostal Church in St. Anthony on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Elliott officiating. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marjorie’s honour to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Mom, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you.  We love you so much.  Rest in peace in the arms of Jesus.
