KINSELLA, MARY ANGES (Nee Pilgrim)

June 6, 1948 – January 16, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mom, grandmother, great grandmother and sibling, Mary Agnes Kinsella (nee Pilgrim) on January 16, 2023 at the Curtis Memorial Hospital.

Mom loved life and lived it to the fullest and like dad surrounded herself with family, friends’ and strangers alike. If anyone were ever stranded in St. Anthony, she would surely take care of you.

Mary is predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Gilbert; her Parents, Eric and Julie Pilgrim; In-laws, Arthur and Blanche Kinsella; Daughter Lois Johnson, Son-in-law, Glenn Richards and Sister, Olive Penney.

She leaves to mourn her Children, Marilyn (Geoff), Bryon (Angela), Penny and Ricky (Tracey).

Grandchildren, Kris, David, Nicole, Tyrel, Candis, Ryan, Drayson, Jennine, Kelsey, Kristen, Laura, Lorne, Blake, Aiden.

Great grandchildren, Tia, Jelena, Kayden, Brooklyn, Hendrix, Ava, Sawyer, Kingston, Lilly and Elise.

Siblings, Lloyd (Clara), Ford (Susan); Brother-in-laws Wilfred (Georgina), Albert (Ellen), Rev. Arthur (Belinda), Tom (Olive – Deceased) and Sister-in-law Emma (Bryon – Deceased); Special Sister Hazel Rowbottom.

As well as a large circle of family and friends.

“Until we meet again Mom, fly with the Angels.” We love you and give Dad a big kiss for us all.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary’s Anglican Church Cemetery Fund or a charity of ones choosing.

Visitation to take place from St. Mary’s Anglican Church in St. Anthony on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 7-9 pm and will continue on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Arthur Kinsella officiating. Cremation to follow with inurnment at a later date.

KINSELLA, SAMUEL CYRIL

November 10, 1937 – November 6, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Samuel Kinsella announce his passing at the John M. Gray Center in St. Anthony, NL at the age of 82 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, May Kinsella (Nee Cull), Wife of 60 years; Daughter, Stephanie; Son, Samuel (Dawn); Daughter Brenda; Daughter, Kim (Michael); Daughter Roxanne (Scott); Grandchildren, Aimee Kinsella, Hayley Kinsella, Noah Coish, Allie Gardner; Brother, Harold (Edna); Sister, Shirley (Rod); Sister Phyllis (Gary); Brother, George (Juanita), as well as a large circle of Nieces and Nephews. He is predeceased by his father, George Kinsella (2004) and Mother, Roseanna Kinsella (nee Richards) (2009). Sam was a wonderful husband, father, and businessman. He and his Wife raised 5 children and ran 2 successful businesses for more than 30 years. He was a dedicated member of the Lions Club and enjoyed playing musical instruments including the organ and accordion. He was a self-made, successful businessman that was always there to help anyone in need. Due to Covid 19 restrictions the funeral will be by invitation only at the St. Mary’s Anglican Church in St. Anthony on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 officiated by Reverend Deacon Art Kinsella.

KINSELLA, BLANCHE

Passed away peacefully February 24th, 2017 at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital at the age of 93 years. She leaves to mourn her children Gilbert (Mary), Wilfred (Georgina), Albert (Ellen), Emma (Byron), Arthur (Belinda); brothers Wilfred (Emma), Charles (Bertha), as well as a large circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, family, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Arthur, son Clement, and granddaughter Lois. Visitation was held at Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home in St. Anthony. The funeral took place from St. Mary’s Anglican Church on February 27, 2017 at 2:00 p, with Rev. Katie Flynn officiating. Interment followed in the new Anglican Cemetery.
