RICHARDS, KEVIN FRANCIS

September 29, 1956 - October 7, 2021

Born on September 29, 1956 in St. Anthony, NL. Kevin grew up in St. Anthony and met the love of his life, Corrine Elliott and together they started a family. Kevin and Corrine were blessed with two boys, Sheldon and Chad. They spent a large part of their lives together in Raleigh before moving to Yellowknife for 19 years where Kevin worked in the mining industry. Kevin enjoyed spending his time in the shed playing darts with family and friends. Kevin was a jack of all trades and especially like fixing small motors and other mechanics. His favourite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren, Mia, Vann, and Knox.
He is forever loved and missed by his Wife of 41 years, Corrine; Sons, Sheldon (Michelle), Chad (Megan); Grandchildren, Mia, Vann, Knox; Parents, Charles and Bertha; Siblings, Edith (Wallace), Gary (Dale), Dallas (George), Marilyn (Chuck), Cherie (Jamie); Parents-in-law, Reginald and Irene Elliott; Sisters-in-law, Ellen, Marie (Monty), Sharon (Glen); Brother-in-law, Anthony (Barbara), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He is predeceased by his Grandparents, Robert and Edith Campbell, Clement and Rebecca Richards; and brother-in-law, Thomas Eddison.
The family would like to send a special thanks to Rev. Arthur Kinsella, the staff at the Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthon for their support during this difficult time.
Visitation to take place from Kerry M Fillatre Funeral Home in St. Anthony on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 2-4pm and Monday, October 11, 2021 from 9-11am with the celebration of life taking place at the funeral home at 11 am. Cremation to follow with inurnment at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Alicia Patey funeral director.

WILCOX, KEVIN

William George Kevin Wilcox September 15th, 1954 – January 6th, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of Kevin Wilcox announce his passing at the Dr. Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, NL on Monday; January 6th, 2020 at the age of 65 years. Kevin Wilcox was born on September 15th, 1954 in Englee, Newfoundland to William and Beatrice Wilcox. Kevin was a hard worker and worked with the Town of Englee for a number of years and held the position of Fire Chief for a term. He also worked for the sawmill in Roddickton until he went back to school in St Anthony, and from there moved to Goose Bay in 2006 at which time he completed a welding course. He finished his career with Frenchie’s Outdoor Shop in Goose Bay when his ongoing battle with cancer prevented him from working any longer. Kevin was well known for his passion for motorcycles and his wife Debbie would joke with him that he thought more about his bike than he did her. He enjoyed salmon fishing and being out in nature whether on the highway on his motorcycle, or on the river with his fly rod. Kevin enjoyed being with people and would joke and carry on with the people he came in contact with. Kevin was loved and cherished by his wife Debbie and will be missed by his children. After a 9-year battle with cancer, on January 6th, 2020, Kevin passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord. Public visitation will be 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm – Wednesday Jan 8th & Thursday Jan 9th. Funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan 10th at 2:00 P.M, with Pastor Mark Locke & Pastor Wayne Noble officiating. Burial will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery. HYNES, KEVIN

Kevin was born on April 13th, 1964 to Hazel and Edward Hynes in St. Anthony NL. during his short life, Kevin had much sickness, He loved to salmon fish and take road trips with his buddies, he enjoyed the simple things. Kevin Passed away in to peace on the 9th of December, 2014 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 50 years. left to mourn his passing are his brothers and sisters Peggy (Ronald), Joan (Boyd), Terry (Delores), Donna (Greg), Eddie (Erdie), Lee, Wayne (Bonnie), nephews philip, Michael, Derick, Chris, Stephanie, Robin, aunt Martha and Uncle Don, Adam, Hazel, Paul, Sabrina, Smantha, Annalee, Emily, Tiara, Michaela, Riley, Charlotte, Thomas, Thea, Thorden, Charles, Anjelika, Abigail, Dominick And Avery, a large circle of friends especially his buddies Glen Pilgrim and Frank Simms and "Buddy " His cat.  In his short life he seen the passing of his parents Hazel and Edward, his grand parents Mary and James Patey, Charles and Janet Hynes and his niece Cheryl-Dee. Visitation was held at the Funeral home in St. Anthony, after which the funeral service took place at The St. Mary's Anglican Church in St. Anthony with Rev'd Fr. Paul C. Findlay Officiating. Cremation followed the Service with burial to be announced at a later date. Funeral services Were entrusted to Kerry M.
