Josephine was born in Pines Cove on March 8, 1946. She was the 5th of 16 born to George Henry and Elizabeth Jane Crane. Josephine was a beautiful and kind hearted woman. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. Josephine loved going to bingo, playing cards and especially loved her darts. She leaves to mourn her Children, Calvin (Eleanor), Clayton (Dorcas), Colin; Grandchildren; Conrad, Colton, Keegan; Siblings, Ralph (Hannah), Rendall, Garfield (Hazel), Maxwell (Juanita), Myrtle (Isaiah), Joyce (James), as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Josephine is predeceased by her Husband, Aaron Mclean; Parents, George Henry and Elizabeth Jane Crane; Siblings, John, Earl, Nelson, Roland, Amie Marie, Lennora, Dorothy, Augustine, Evelyn; as well as sister-in-laws, Betty and Una. Visitation to take place from St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Lower Cove on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral will take place on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 11:00 am with Rev. Vernon Short officiating. Interment to follow. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. It is with sadness that the Diamond family announce the passing of the late Josephine Diamond on June 30th, 2021 at the age of 92 years. She leaves to mourn her Children, Sharon Diamond, Donald Diamond; Goldie McBurnie, Mae Keefe; Brother-in-law, Pearce Penney; Special Friends, Linda, Harvey, Sandra, and Helen. She is predeceased by her husband, Gordon; Parents, Henry and Rosehannah Parrill; Brothers, Norman, Andrew, Roland, George; and Sisters, Rita, Mamie, and Amy. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 2nd at Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home in St. Anthony from 10-12 pm to be followed by the Private Funeral Service at 2:00 pm from the St. Anthony United Church with Rev. Georgina Parsons officiating. Passed away at the John M. Gray Center in St. Anthony on the 4th of January, 2015, Mrs. Josephine Johnson of St. Anthony in her 80th year. Left to mourn her passing are her Sister Phoebe (Ralph), Delena, Victoria (Tex), Brother John (Jean), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. she was predeceased by her husband Harvey, Parents Walter and Delena Hedderson and Brothers Jerry and Vernon. Visitation took place at the funeral home in st. Anthony, From which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on January 8th, 2015 with Rev'd. Fr. Paul C. Findlay Officiating. Burial followed the service at the Anglican Cemetery, St. Anthony. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatres Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.
