Passed peacefully away at his home in Goose Cove, May 19, 2017 at the age of 77. John is survived by his wife, Evangeline and his daughters Anastasia (Kier) Knudsen and Natasha (Ryan) Flynn; Brothers Patrick and William Drudge, Clifford (Mary Theresa) Kearney; Sisters Bridgett (John) Murrin, Anne (Wayne) Sedore; Brothers-in-law Raymond, Maurice (Eileen), Brendan (Kim), Desmond (Martha), Kevin (Ann), Donald (Kirsten) McDonald; Sisters-in-law Sheila Strangemore, Gertrude (Patrick) Troy, Mary (Harry Urschitz) McDonald, Ellen (Anthony) Sexton, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He was predeceased by his son Desmond; Parents John and Ellen Drudge; sisters Anastasia (Albert) Chaytor, Edna Drudge; Parents-in-law William and Anastasia McDonald; sister-in-law Elizabeth McDonald; Brothers-in-law Albert Chaytor and Graham Strangemore. Visitation was held at Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home in St. Anthony until the funeral on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11:00 am from the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Goose Cove with Fr. George officiating. Interment followed in the Goose Cove Roman Catholic Cemetery, Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.

BROMLEY, HAROLD

Passed peacefully away at the Western Memorial Regional Health in Corner Brook on Jan.24th 2015.  Mr. Harold Bromley of Fish Head Island was in his 74th year. Leaving to mourn one Son Darrin (Debbie) three grandchildren, Corey, Travis, and Kindra. Three nieces’ one nephew Loretta Casey (Steve) Mary McCarthy, Jacinta (Lawrence) Gerard (Juanita) Clarence Mason A large number of grand and great grand Nieces, Nephews, Relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his Mom and Dad Rose and Arthur Bromley, Sister Mary and brother in law Herbert and niece Rose. Visitation was held at the St. Edwards church Grandois, from which the funeral Mass was held at 11:00am on Thursday the 29th of January 2015 with Fr. Vitus Echedo officiating. Interment followed in the Roman Catholic cemetery in Croque. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Fuenral Director.
