TAYLOR, GRACE BLANCHE

Age 72
It is with great sadness that the family of Grace Taylor announce her passing on June 11th, 2023 at the Health Science Center, St. John’s with her nieces Angela and Stella each holding her hand.

Grace was born to Allen and Delilah (Bessey) Taylor, she was the youngest of 10 children. After the passing of her mother she was left to care for her father, sister Linda and nephew Keith. She was a kind and gentle soul that never complained or asked anything of anyone. She was a hard worker and she lived every day with a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed by her two sisters and especially her nephew Keith who was like her own, and by all who knew her.

She is survived by her Sisters: Elvie (Cyril) Campbell, Selma Taylor; Special Nephew: Keith Taylor; Sister in Law: Peggy Taylor.

She is predeceased by her Parents: Allen & Delilah; Brothers: Hedley Bessey, Jasper & Lewis Taylor; Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Marie (Ben) Nicholas, Evelyn (Wilfred) Roberts, Gladys (Samuel) Butt; Linda Taylor; Brother in-Law: Harvey Taylor.

Visitation to be held at The United Church in Raleigh beginning Wednesday June 14th in the afternoon and continuing until the funeral service on Friday June 16, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Pasor Charity Butler officicating.

BURDEN, JUDY GRACE

June 2, 1953 - December 24 2022

It is with profound sadness that the family of Judy Grace Burden announce her passing on December 24, 2022 at Curtis Memorial  Hospital at the age of 69. Judy  was born on June 2, 1953 in Noddy Bay, NL to Elsie and Ambrose Hedderson. Judy was a great mom of four boys as well as a grandma and great grandma. She was married to Elias Burden for 53 years. She was a  member of the church pretty much her entire life.  After her boys were all grown up she spent her later years volunteering in her home town of St. Lunaire -Griquet, NL Left to mourn her:  Husband Elias, Sons  Murray(Lana) Morgan (Tammy), Dexter.  Grandson Damien(Dawn) and Granddaughters Chloe, Destiny, Hayley, Tamara, and Brooklynn. Great Grandkids Hunter, Heath and Caleigh. Sisters Cassie(Karl), Rita, Iris and Lorrie Pilgrim (Marlon). Brothers Ross(Pansy), Ernest(Frances) Also all her in-laws, her homecare worker Sandra Pilgrim and a large circle of nieces, nephews and the numerous close friends that she had made over her 69 years.  Predeceased by parents  Ambrose and Elsie, Son Danny as well as many more family members The family would like to thank all the staff at Curtis Memorial hospital who took such good care of Judy. Special thanks to Mikey for being my our Mom's nurse for all these years  and taking such good care of her.  She talked about you all the time. Also much appreciation to everyone for the support given us at this sad time. The visits, prayers, food or just being there when  we needed to talk or cry. All your support will never be forgotten. In lue of flowers memorial donations are being accepted.
The visitation and Funeral Service were held at the Pentecostal Church in St. Lunaire- Griquet on December 29th, 2022 at 2:00pm with Major Anthony Stokes and Major Beverly Dart Stokes, burial followed in the St. Lunaire- Griquet Salvation Army Community Cemetery. PERRY, ELIZA GRACE

Passed away at the John M. Gray Center in St. Anthony on the 27th day of September, 2014 Mrs. Eliza Grace Perry in her 83rd year. Left with their memories are her sisters Marina (Ephraim), Rita and Melva (David), brothers Guy (Audrey) and Don, Special cousin Charles (Carletta) Fennimore as well as sisters in law Winnie Roberts and Lydia Roberts in Burlington and a large circle of nieces and nephews. Eliza was predeceased by her parents, her husband Alonzo, sisters Jessie, Minnie, and brothers Roland , George and Mount. Visitation was held at Kerry M. Fillatres Funeral home in St. Anthony, After Which the Funeral Service too place at 2:00pm on the 30th of September at The Salvation Army Church in St. Anthony with Majors Dinzel and Kathleen Baggs officiating, burial followed the service at the church cemetery where Eliza was laid to rest with her husband Alonzo. DREDGE, GRACE MARY

It is with heavy hearts the family of the late Mrs. Grace Mary Dredge announce her passing at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 3rd day of August 2014. Mrs. Grace Dredge of Black Duck Cove was in her 51st year. She will always be remembered and loved by her beloved husband Clifford Sr. , Son Clifford Jr. (Amanda), daughter Laura(Chuck), Granddaughters Shelby, Halle, Bella, Grandsons Cody, and C.J, Brother Kenneth(Daphne), Sisters Laura(Don), Dawn(Sammie), Michelle and Ivy(Dave), Sister in laws Mona(Gerald), Marjorie(William), Brother-in-law Stephen as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her Father Donald, Mother Debbie, Mother-in-Law Rachel, Father-in-Law Absalom Sr., Brothers George, Albert, Nephew Kenneth Spence Jr., Niece Shara Lynn Spence. Visitation was held at the St. Mary's Anglican Church in Black Duck Cove from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on the 7th day of August 2014 with Rev. Harold Harvey officiating.
