The family of Ethel Florence Pilgrim nee Bessey are saddened to announce her passing on October 14,2022 at the John M. Gray Center in St.Anthony at the age of 95 years.
She was known as Florrie to all.The very sweetest and kindest lady.spending most of her life as a shopkeeper. She thoroughly enjoyed her days interacting with her customers right up until she retired at the age of 84.
She was predeceased by her husband Maxwell, her sister Beatrice and her step brother Hedley.
She leaves to mourn with fond a loving memories her four children Bruce (Donna), Eileen (Allen), Clyde (Joy), Ivan (Rena)
6 grandchildren-Tracy (Dale), Trent (Barbara Ann), Chad(Susan), Gavin(Jenn), Melissa (Chris), Christopher(Katie) and 10 great grandchildren Terryn, Brooklyn, Samantha, Charlotte, Quinn, Nora, Benjamin, Harper, Mackenzie, Sofia and one brother Edward Bessey (Martha)
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Kerry M Fillatre, St. Anthony. Visitation will be on Sunday, Oct. 16th 2022 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
Funeral service will be held on Monday Oct. 17th at 2 pm form the Funeral home in St. Anthony with Rev. John McGonigle officiating. Interment to follow at United Church cemetery, Raleigh.

EARLE, STELLA FLORENCE

was born to Elijah and Emma Earle on February 20, 1920. She married Thomas Earle in 1938. They were blessed with seven sons and eight daughters. Stella gave her heart to the Lord in 1939. She loved and served the Lord all down through the years. Stella was a woman of prayers and had a passion for Missions. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother; and worked hard raising her family. Stella passed peacefully into the presence of the Loving Lord on Wednesday, March 14th, 2018 at the age of 98 years. She leaves to mourn with tender and loving memories, her sons, Hubert (Winnie), Lloyd, Shawn (Patsy); Daughters, Violet (Arthur) Loder, Jean (Ross) Stevens, Donna (Bradley) Heard, Linda (Curtis) Hillier; Daughter-in-law Elizabeth Earle, as well as 38 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of extended family and friends. Stella was predeceased by her parents Elijah and Emma Earle; Husband Thomas Earle; Sons Ronald, Perry, Rodger, Allan; Daughters Beatrice (Manuel), Jessie, Elva, Dulcie; Daughter-in-law Diane Hedderson; Son-in-law Allan Manuel; Granddaughters Betty Quinlan, Cynthia Pilgrim; Brothers William Earle, Hubert Earle; Sisters Beatrice Coles, Elsie Bussey, Mary Eddison, and Phyllis Humby. Visitation was held from the Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle in St. Lunaire-Griquet until the funeral on Saturday, March 17th, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Joh Baker officiating. Interment followed. PATEY, FLORENCE (FLO) PEARL

Florence (Flo) Pearl Humby was born in St. Lunaire, on June 26th of 1943 to Joseph and Jessie Humby. on Oct. 19th, 1960 she married the love of her life Allan Patey; they had many great years together and raised 8 children who were the apple of her eye. she was dedicated and loving wife, Mother, grandmother and Great-Grandmother. she was a hard worker; she worked in the fish plant up until the moratorium and embroidered for Grenfell Handicrafts to help provide for her family, she always wanted the best for them. Flo enjoyed knitting. embroidering. Crocheting. Berry picking. house cleaning. evening rides looking for moose and caribou and cherished spending time with her family. Especially grandchildren and great grandchildren. she was a woman who was of little words but always there to lend a hand to anyone in need.  Flo passed peacefully into the presence of her loving heavenly father on June 3rd at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony where she was reunited with her loving parents and other family members. left with many great and loving memories are her husband of 53 years Allan, Children Wanda (Jim), Samuel (audrey), William (Mary), Carolynn (Tommy), Peggy-Ann (Morris), Larraine (Tenna), Corey (Crystal), and Valda (Glenn). Grand children Allan (Jocelyn), Evelyn (Brad), Shawn (Sarah), Jeremy (Vanessa T), Justin (Allison), Jonathan Vanessa D), Brittany, Nicholas and Kian. Great Grandchildren Alexa, Braydon, Jaxon, Sacha, Griffin and Joey and 1sister and 6 brothers and in-laws as well as a large of nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. she was pre deceased by her loving parents Joseph and Jessie Humby, brothers William, Wilbert, Alvohn, Truman, mother and father in law Beulah and Samuel Patey, 2 sister in laws and 2 brother in laws. Visitation was held at the Calvary Pentecostal church in St. Lunaire-Griquet followed by the funeral service which was held at 2:00pm on Friday June 6, with pastor Wayne Baker Officiating.
