PARRILL, ELIZA

March 17, 1942 - October 20, 2024

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our Mom/Nan at the Curtis Memorial Hospital, St. Anthony, on Sunday October 20th at the age of 82.

She will be missed by her Children: Shirley (Barry), Ward (Celia), Ruby (Ed), Jarvis; Grandchildren: Sabrina, Pamela (Cory), Pierrette (Murray), Tamara (Steve), Nathan (Penney), Kendra (Greg), Belle (Nathan); Great grandchildren: Keegan (Theresa), Kylan (Kanisha), Kaine, Kaci Rae, Kai, Reid, Bella and Orion.

She is also survived by her 2 sisters: Nellie Parrill and Emily Patey; Sisters-in-law: Esther Elliott and Naomi Mitchelmore.

Eliza is predeceased by her husband: John; Daughter: Rhonda; Son: Elvis; Her parents: Austin and Evangeline Mitchelmore; Sister: Cora; Brothers: Reginald (Mary), Curtis Mitchelmore; Brother-in-laws: Ethelbert (Kitty), Ivany (Rita), Doug (Virtue), Norman Parrill and Herb Patey; and Sister in law: Frances (John).

The family would like to thank the staff at Ivy Durley Place, Flowers Cove Health Center and Curtis Memorial Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion shown to our Mom/Nan over the past few months. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

Visitation will take place at St. Andrew's Church, Lower Cove beginning the evening of Tuesday October 22, 2024. The family service will take place on Wednesday, October 23rd at 7pm. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Canon Vernon Short officiating. Interment to follow.

SNOW, ELIZA

Eliza Snow passed away peacefully at her home on July 6, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. She had lost her nine month battle with cancer at the age of 69.

Eliza was born on November 24, 1954 to Albert and Effie Pynn of Quirpon. She met the love her life, Robert Snow, and married on January 24, 1975 and together they had four children: Nicole (Wade), Jennifer, Georgina (Jason) and Bobby. She spent her life working, raising her family, and making friends along the way. She was also blessed with four grandchildren: Cody, Robby (Nicole), Caitlyn, & Kyle.

Eliza leaves to mourn her husband, her children, her grandchildren; Sister: Annie Lambert; Brother: Bradley (Peggy) Pynn; Sister-in-law: Patsy Pynn as well as a large circle of family and friends.

She is predeceased by her daughter: Jennifer; Parents: Albert and Effie Pynn; Brother: George Pynn; and brother-in-law: Guy Lambert.

The family would like to send a thank-you to those who sent condolences and supported us in any way at this difficult time. We would also like to extend our thanks to the staff at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital, the community health nurses, Major Anthony and Beverly Stokes and KM Fillatres.

Visitation to take place from the Salvation Army Citadel in St. Anthony on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 7-8:30 pm. The funeral will take place at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 with Major Stokes and Dart-Stokes officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Anthony Salvation Army Cemetery.

Grant & Eliza, Forever Loved and Remembered by their Daughter, Gertie-Lynn Ringuette (Alan); Son:, Randy (Stephanie) Parrill; Grand-Daughters, Lyntesha, Ashlynn, Christine, Michaella & Dianah; Grand-Sons, Zachary, Ryker and Bryan. Daughter-In-Law Dawn Lee; Grants Sister, Jessie Samson, Dean & Family; Grant’s Brother, Clyde (Brenda); Eliza's Brother & Sister-In-Law, George Williams, Kirby Taylor; Grant and Eliza also leave behind a large circle of nephew's, nieces and extended family members and friends.

Grant is predeceased by his Wife Eliza; Son Bernard (Bernie) Parrill; Parents: Lenora and Nelson Parrill; Brother-In-Law, Tom Sampson.

Eliza is predeceased by her Son Bernard (Bernie) Parrill; Parents, Gertrude and Clement Williams; Sisters, Mary Jane (Archibald) Bailey, Bessie Maye, Eliza Williams & Dulcie Taylor. Brother's: Roland (Winnie) Williams; and Infant Brother's Erastus and Roland Williams.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.

A joint funeral service for Grant and Eliza Parrill to take place on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm from St. Andrews Anglican Church in Lower Cove. Interment for both to follow in the Pines Cove community cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton.

PERRY, ELIZA GRACE

Passed away at the John M. Gray Center in St. Anthony on the 27th day of September, 2014 Mrs. Eliza Grace Perry in her 83rd year. Left with their memories are her sisters Marina (Ephraim), Rita and Melva (David), brothers Guy (Audrey) and Don, Special cousin Charles (Carletta) Fennimore as well as sisters in law Winnie Roberts and Lydia Roberts in Burlington and a large circle of nieces and nephews. Eliza was predeceased by her parents, her husband Alonzo, sisters Jessie, Minnie, and brothers Roland , George and Mount. Visitation was held at Kerry M. Fillatres Funeral home in St. Anthony, After Which the Funeral Service too place at 2:00pm on the 30th of September at The Salvation Army Church in St. Anthony with Majors Dinzel and Kathleen Baggs officiating, burial followed the service at the church cemetery where Eliza was laid to rest with her husband Alonzo.
