EDISON, LOIS EMMA PAULINE

March 6, 1957- February 12, 2022

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the family announce the sudden passing of their sister, Lois Edison of Roddickton, NL at the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Saturday, February 12, 2022, after a brief illness.

Lois was born to the late William and Mary Edison of Roddickton, NL on March 6, 1957. She grew up in Roddickton. When she finished High School, she went to St. John's, NL and studied to be a Lab/X-Ray Technician. After graduating, she moved back to her home town of Roddickton and worked with Grenfell Health for 35 plus years.

After retirement, she enjoyed going on trips and cruises with her sisters, gardening and the outdoor life. She gave her heart to the Lord at a young age and faithfully served Him, until He called her home.

Left to mourn with many fond and loving memories are: Brothers: Cecil (Betty), Roy (Verna), Wilson (Bernice), Fred (Dora); Sisters: Maisie (Donald), Dorothy (Kildare), Elsie, Pearl, Joyce (Christoher), Faye (David), Wavey (Wade) and a number of Nephews and Nieces.

Predeceased by her parents, William and Mary; brother Douglas and Sister-in-Law Daphne; Great-Nephews Dustin and Nicholas; Great - Niece Hannah; Brother-in-Law Beatie Hancock, Grandparents and many Aunts and Uncles.

Family visitation took place at Calvary Pentecostal Temple, Roddickton, NL. The funeral took place at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 16, 2021 with Pastor Robert Paddock officiating. Interment followed. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Alicia Patey, Funeral Director.

EDISON, EMMA JANE

Passed away into peace on the 16th of March 2015 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony in her 88th year, Mrs. Emma J. Eddison of Hay Cove, NL. Left to mourn are her children Grenfell (Marie), Winston (Christine), Jim (Wanda), Rose Tucker (Rick), Mazie (Lester), Wavey Hedderson (Clarence), Kevin (Gloria), Cassie Edison-Huntley (Steven), 14 grand children, 17 Great grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Sisters Annie and Fannie, Brother Pleman as well as a large circle of friends and family. Emma was predeceased by her mother Lucinda and Father Rueban, Husband Robert, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation was held at the Central United Church at Quirpon Branch, from which the Funeral Service was held at 2:00pm on the 20th of March with Rev. Dinesh Gomes Officiating, Burial followed the service at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements where entrusted to Kerry M.
